Good Morning, A rainy start to this Sunday, its 62 going to a high close to 70. Its pretty humid out, Ray had to come downstairs this morning as he couldn't breath. I closed the window and turn the fan on so he could get some air. Today I plan on doing not much, only what I want to do not what has to be done. Going to have chicken for dinner. I want to bring the canna's bulbs upstair and soak them, will do this on the back deck, will pot them up and if needed I can drag them inside of the family room. Could do all this in the garage, but what would I do if the weather gets cold. I also have about 10 dahlia bulbs to plant. A gal up at KOT asked me if I did flowrs, well of course I do. She had all the bulbs labeled, that also is on the list but I can wait until tomorrow to do them.
Connie, I have seen pictures on TV of the tornado all I can say is Wow, go glad you and Leroy are safe and no damage.
Now I can say, I'm wondering about Leroy, he didn't post yesterday, I hope it isn't because of his pain.
Have a great day, and watch the weather.

Good morning Everyone… Have Ramekin eggs ready to go into the oven for breakfast and will have sausages with them. Sunny day but only going up to about 80°. Started a hanging basket of Salvia seeds hoping for hummingbirds. Haven’t seen the one since last Sunday. Sure have a lot of red headed finches though but need to put another suet cake out for the Starlings. Sure glad the tornadoes missed Connie and Leroy. Not my favorite time of year here in Texas either. Sure getting a lot of potted plants…,missing our flower beds and Keith is missing the vegetable garden. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Linda, I wondering could you use some decorative flower pots to plant tomatoes and pepper for Keith to look after. Of course I mean some bigger pots, some people use pails but that would look tacky in your community. Just a idea.

Good morning. 62, going to 66, with off and on showers. We've gotten a pretty good amount of rain in the last few days - getting spring off to a pretty good start.
I thought I posted yesterday, but maybe not. Sometimes I get distracted, and miss things. I've gotten a little better sleep the last couple days, though.
Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning everyone. Sorry haven’t been here last couple of days. Can’t even remember what I’ve read here. Site went out Friday night. Every once in a while that happens. At exactly 9:00 pm my time, every time. Must be midnight wherever this site is located. Maybe down for maintenance? I’m very glad to see that both Leroy and Connie are safe. We don’t have those weather problems here, but that could change, the way the weather is acting up lately. Carol, I hope Ray is feeling better. That must be a horrible feeling, not being able to breathe. Linda, your breakfast sounds yummy. We just had fruit and cereal. i hear you on missing your flower and vegetable gardens. Five years later and we still miss them, although at our ages I don’t think we could have kept them up. Leroy, nice to hear you had a better sleep last night. Sounds like the pain has lessened, if not gone. Not much going on here today. Lazy, lazy. Had Hazel, the robot vac, do the main floors. While she was doing that, I put in a load of clothes. All done, just towels to do. Might leave towels for tomorrow, or maybe not. Depends on how guilty I feel. DH as two games today, Bluejays (baseball) on now, Canucks (hockey) at 2 pm. I think I’ll just read my book, might finish it today. Jan.

A late good afternoon. We have had some rains today! Making Up for lost time! That's ok as we are way short on the moisture.
I went to church but DH didn't. He yelled at me about 6:30 then I went back to sleep until 7:10...Ohh boy! did I need to hurry. By the time I got ready, DH was sitting on the couch drowsing and he was not dressed and ready so I went by myself. Of course that makes the other folks at church wonder....then you have to explain. I did not stay for coffee and rolls but came home and made me some fresh coffee, a tube of cinnamon rolls(basically sweet biscuits). I don't really feel good today and have seriously considered crawling back in bed. It's either that or make a batch of soup.
I had gotten back in to my PJ's when DH decided to run to Menards for some rain gauge glasses. I opted to stay home and we had a BIG downpour while he was gone. I have been looking for a reverse 9 patch quilt pattern (I don't really need the pattern as they are simple to do) but to figure out how much material I need for a queen. Youngest DGD is next in line for her quilt...I don't want to wait until the last minute like I did for this last one that I just got finished.
Appreciate all the concerns for Leroy and I. Luckily, neither of us live in an area that got hit. In fact it actually looks pretty bright outside at the moment!
Tomorrow is cookie day then back to the VA on Tuesday. I was beginning to enjoy being a lady of leisure. Can you believe it, 2 days in a row I had the opportunity to go where there is a garden center & I chose to skip it!
Jan, I don't have a Hazel robot...what I wish I had was a Heloise that would dust and clean the bathrooms. Those gals usually only do the floor work!
Have yourselves a great day!

Carol, We do have pots and I suspect he will try a tomato plant but because of the way the cottage faces, he has to move the pots around to get enough sunlight plus the guys do the mowing and we have to move the pots to allow for them to do that too. Jan, know we will miss the old yard and garden for years to come too but was just getting to be too much.

Good afternoon. It is cloudy and cold today. We are at our high for the day at 57 degrees up from56 degrees. It has been raining and since midnight we have .25". I was hoping to get ten times that amount but nobody asked. Dale came up yesterday morning and we went to a greenhouse and bought bedding plants. We only went to one because I was wore out from walking around that big area. Prices were not anything to brag about but the plants were very nice. After we got home I rested for awhile the Dale took me to the grocery store. Got a few things before we came home and crashed. I fell asleep before SNL came on and didn't wake up til almost 8 this morning. We had cinnamon rolls I made this week . Dale finish 2 so I guess they were good. We put the A/C in the bedroom window then we brought the canna bulbs up from the basement and have them in the garage until it gets warmer. I need to clean the litter box and then I'm taking it easy the rest of the night. I hope you all had a good day.

Just checking in. I've done nothing but feed my face and watch videos. Looking for new crochet channels and maybe new projects. We got lots of rain, 2.25" over a 24 hour period (2 storm systems), so it will definitely help the drought status. I didn't care for the hail yesterday, but frozen rain water is still water. Good thing it was small. It was crazy as some was like marbles (perfectly round), and others were longer and oblong.
