Good morning! It's more spring-like this morning with temps in the 40s. Leftover semi-homemade pizza with a side salad was great. Tonight Bill is making his pork tenderloin medallions with mustard sauce. Will have with leftover pasta and fresh green beans. I am fighting a rising panic in dealing with this move...it sounds like I'm making progress, but it really is small in the scope of things. Moving is the easiest...that's booked. I have to get the beds delivered, window treatments installed...coordinate those in the 5 days after the closing before the movers move! Then I have to schedule the auction, get someone to take what we don't sell, and do a thorough cleaning of the whole property. Then we can sell. Realtor is chaffing at the bit...wants to sell NOW!!! Deep breaths......... Enjoy your day! Waving!

Good beautiful morning all.
Sun is shinning and it looks like it will be a beautiful spring day here.
Ann- Dan and I had all that "panic" leave when we decided not to sell. The realtor is still emailing and asking if we have changed out minds but nope we are going to do the stair lift as it makes Dan so much more relieved. He seems so less stressed. We are putting everything in a trust in Brian's name and we feel good about that too. Makes Dan feel like all things are set and he can relax. We are looking at having the tub removed and a handicap shower stall installed. So that will help.
Lori- Safe travel over and back. Hope you have a great time. But of course you will with DD and DGD!
Have a rummage sale and a craft fair to go to today. (I am not selling this time) and that is my day.

Good morning ladies. A couple of days ago, the weekend was to be dry, warm and sunny the whole time. Now the forecast has changed to cloudy for both days with a reasonable chance of rain later today and perhaps tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will still be in the high 60s. I understand the feeling of panic Ann. It will all come together for you - it always does. If the realtor is 'chafing at the bit', does he/she have a prospective buyer 'right now'? If they do, that person needs to be told that you are in a state of upheaval, and the property will show better in another month! The changes you are making sound good for Dan. One of the canning ladies has a chair lift in her place so she can access her basement and it makes a huge difference to her. Lori, I know you are well on you way but I will still wish you a lovely day with your girls. I have laundry started but really no other plans as yet as to how I will spend the day. We'll see what happens. Wishing everyone a lovely day.

It is a sweatshirt light jacket morning. Only 57º when we headed out. And I was lazy again and took the cart. Mary and Emily got to the pet area shortly after we did. So Mandy and Emily got to play and ignore one another for a bit. Emily is a very shy dog and doesn't interact much with any other dog. But both girls are always so happy to see one another though. hehehe
Yesterday I wasted a whole day waiting for FedEx to show up. Nada no show. Then this morning I get a message that it may or may not show up by May 3rd. So I go to the actual FedEx. site and it ways to be delivered today. I just cringe whenever anything is to come from FedEx. They are the the second worst delivery service down here. OnTrac being the ultimate worst ever. FedEx will actually change my delivery address to a place we haven't lived in 5 years or leave the package in an empty lot and we have to go and hunt for it.
Just some cleaning to do today and not going far from the view of my home. Windy again so I won't have any doors or windows open. I'm thinking I should sweep off the porch or do twice as much on Monday. My neck and arms aren't too bad so maybe I'll just leave the porch and enjoy a day of less pain. Those days are so rare.
Ann, ((HUGS))) to help you with the stress of packing.
Lori, have a wonderful time.
Chris, staying where you both are happiest is what you need to do. Less stress is best. (((HUGS)))
Tasty, so sorry you nice weather took a turn. You'll have to make your own sunshine. The temp is at least better.
Time for another cup of coffee, or get up and get my morning tasks done. Hmmmm Lunch may be a veggie omelet with toast and juice and supper just might be french bread pizza left from supper last night.

Good afternoon. Just passing through. It was 30° here this morning with some sun. Thursday work was a bit rough only that on job took 4 hours that was suppose to take 2. Yesterday was a breeze basically just walk in and walk out. I have been on the computer none stop since 6:30 this morning doing Lions' work. Making progress but I don't see much chance of finishing everything on that list that I made better than a week ago.
Have a great day.

Good morning. I went and fed and walked Mickie, I had to hand feed her as she wasn't into eating, poor baby lonely. I do go over there 4 times a day. 2 of the times is just to keep her company.
I then walked Coco. I felt bad for her to as lady stopped us and told me about her upcoming summer as she also has a residents in Canada.
I am playing cards this afternoon.
Ann- I feel for you and the stress, I can still remember it. Hugs.
Chris- have fun today.
Tasty- I am sure you have found something to do.
Lori-enjoy as I know you will.
Mamma- today is a good day to rest.
Bet- hope you are done with the Lions work by now and can head to doing something fun.
Elza- hope you are also enjoying your visit.
I think I might do mini egg rolls tonight and head to happy hour this evening.

I'm taking my time working up a grocery order for Monday or Tuesday next week. I mention because I've run across Heinz Ketchup with pickle, not sure if it actually has pickle bits in it or just pickle flavoring. I'm all for it as I love dill pickles any way at all, even right out of the jar. I either drink the juice or add it to other things, too. I would especially like the new ketchup on sandwiches which would prevent soggy bread. Maybe. Any other takers? My supper tonite will be a nice big Cobb Salad. Slow and steady to all those busy working hard which is just about everybody, as usual. Hugs to all

Can't claim to have worked hard today Helen. The third load is in the dryer and so far only one thing waiting to be ironed! I did head to the grocery store - needed milk - but the store struck me as empty (shelves) and messy - not like usual at all. So I got the bare necessities and came home. It was really quite cold and damp out which set my hip off and aggravated arthritis. Reading that, I sound old and sorry for myself - not good. Yes, I might be old but I'm not really sorry for myself. Hubby is finishing painting our closet and then that just leaves the utility room to be done. Will be nice to get that finally put together . I've just put a good old-fashioned beef stew in the oven for supper tonight. We'll either have mashed potatoes or maybe a Yorkshire pudding with it 😋.

Woohooooo, my golf cart tires and new table come this morning. The young man said the address label had no lot number so they did't know where to take the table yesterday, but the tires did and both had my name. Thankful the young man was attentive. And I'm very thankful my tires came or who knows where my table would end up. I asked him if he could put the table package in the house and the stack of tires on the golf cart. I gave him $5 for his help, he said he didn't want it but I told him I appreciated that he went the extra mile for me by helping. He left with a big smile and several thank you's. My new table is square and the round one is up for sale. Round is not a good option, I learned my lesson well. I got the table assembled and then had Mike help me lift it to get it on the four legs. It weighs 50 pounds. Too heavy for me. The new table is also an inch higher so no more folding myself in half to eat. I love the table and it fits my needs much better than the round one ever did. So you could say my morning went well, but I am now sore and tired.
All the cardboard and styrofoam is cleared up and tossed in the dumpster, floor swept and porch cleaned off again too. Needless to say I am done for the day. Just take Mandy out and hope to sneak in a nap. Shower tonight, church coffee and service in the morning. The weekend is starting off quite well.

Good evening, friends. Have been home about 20 minutes now. We had a lovely day with the girls, but tired now after six hours on the roads today. Had planned to warm up leftovers this evening for our dinner, but DH said he'd rather a bowl of popcorn instead, so that is what we'll have for dinner tonight. Sleep well and I'll talk with you tomorrow. Lori
