Peach French Toast stacy k – TOH BB-Tammy 1 c. packed brown sugar ½ c. butter, cubed 2 T. water 1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches, drained 12 slices day old French bread, cut ¾” thick 5 eggs 1 ½ c. milk 1 T. vanilla Cinnamon In a small saucepan bring the brown sugar, butter and water to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 10 min. Stir often. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Top with peaches. Arrange bread over peaches. In a bowl, whisk the egg, milk and vanilla. Slowly pour over the bread. Cover and chill overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and bake 20 minutes at 350*. Uncover and bake 25-30 minutes longer or until golden.
