Use only real maple syrup. Dark cooking grade gives the most flavor
Maple Syrup Salad Dressing-birdy Recipe courtesy of: Burt Homestead Farm, Maple Products, Cold Brook, NY • 1 cup red wine vinegar • 3/4 cup extra light olive oil • 1/4 cup canola oil • 2 or 3 Tablespoons salt-free seasoning (such as Mrs. Dash or McCormick's Spice Mixture) • 1 cup real maple syrup Combine the ingredients in a blender. Pulse till mixture is well blended— taste and adjust for sourness-sweetness to your liking. Bottle and refrigerate. Shake well before dressing your salad.
