Snicker Doodles-auntcon
1 cup soft shortening (I use half butter and half butter flavor Crisco)
1 1/2 sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 Teaspoons sugar
3 Tablespoons cinnamon
1. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
2. Mix flour and other dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture.
3. Form into balls the size of small walnuts. Rolls the balls in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
4. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400°.
5. Makes about 60 cookies
