CRANBERRY ALMOND COOKIES-tasty 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. Almond extract 2 cups flour ¼ tsp. salt ½ cup dried cranberries ½ cup chopped toasted almonds 1. Preheat oven to 350*F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Blend in Almond extract. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in dried cranberries and toasted almonds. 2. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 36 cookies.
