Buttery Spritz Cookies-Marjo
1 c butter
1 1/4 c confectioner's sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1/2 t almond extract
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 t salt
colored sugar and sprinkles.
some dipped half of cookie in candy coating ( I did not)
Bake 375*. In large bowl, cream butter and pwd. sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and extracts. Combine flour and salt. Gradually add to creamed
mixture; mix well.
Using a cookie press fitted with disk press dough 2"apart. Bake 6-8 minutes.
I had to bake mine 10 min. until very light brown around edges and I did
have oven at 375*. This makes perfect trees and poinsetta's.
