SHRIMP WIGGLE-Alice thegeema 4 T butter or margarine 4 T flour 1/2 t salt 1/8 t pepper (optional) 1/2 t celery salt (optional – I never used) 2 C milk 2 C cooked shrimp (I used 2 – 3 cans small shrimp)* 1 C cooked peas Crackers (like Ritz) Melt butter and blend in flour, salt, pepper and celery salt. Add milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add shrimp and peas and heat thoroughly. Serve on crisp crackers. Serves 6. If desired, omit celery salt and cook 1/2 cup diced celery in butter before adding flour and seasonings. Add 1 tablespoon diced pimiento or sprinkle freely with paprika.
