Glazed Strawberry Pie Gluten Free-Tammy
1 baked gluten free pie shell* 2 qt. fresh strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced 1 c. water 3/4 c. sugar 1 T. corn starch
Fill the baked shell very full with strawberry slices, reserving some berries. Chill at least 1 hour. Near the end of the hour, place remaining berries in a medium pan with water. Cook until tender. Pour into a blender container and puree. Strain. Add sugar and cornstarch. Stir, cook over low heat until dissolved. Pour over berries in shell. Chill at least 1 hour.
