Cream Biscuits-Birdy
Has anyone tried making cream biscuits or cream scones? I have a King Arthur recipe that makes biscuits using only 2-3 ingredients--Equal weights of self-rising flour and heavy cream (instead of shortening or butter) with a little sugar for shortcakes. One oz. of flour plus 1 oz. by weight of cream makes 1 biscuit. Sounds interesting and I have the ingredients in the house. I have some strawberries so I might try making a shortcake for one for dessert.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes
