Easy Pot Roast-Tammy
2-3 lb roast 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 can water 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix optional add ins: 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped garlic clove, 1 bay leaf dash of Kitchen Bouquet for color
Place meat in a Dutch oven. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and bake at 350 for about 2 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf if using. Serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
Variation: Brown ground beef patties on each side in skillet. Pour sauce over. Lower heat and simmer until meat is done.
