10-minute Tuscan Tomato Soup-Ann Woman's Day, 2/13/07 1 jar (24oz.) marinara sauce (I use Rao's) 1 can (19oz.) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained 1 jar (7oz.) roasted red peppers 1 small onion, chopped (my addition) 1 clove garlic 1¾ chicken broth ¼ cup thin strips fresh basil (I only sometimes use) Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Put sauce, onion, beans, peppers, oil and garlic in a blender or food processor; process until smooth. Pour into a medium saucepan along with the broth. Stirring often, bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Remove from heat; stir in basil, if using. Spoon into bowls; grind pepper on top.
