Oh my goodness but you ladies are so helpful!!I went back and slowly read all 7 pages again. Finally I at least have been able to copy something else over to here other than those darned letters and numbers.
But...still not successful at posting a picture.
All that transfers over is a tiny box with a red x in it. Yes charline I am so close!! You would laugh to see how excited I got at seeing that red x. LOL
Oohing and ahhing over the lovely pictures!!
Angela I am working on the advice you so nicely took the time to copy and paste for me. I will try again this evening.

A lot depends on what kind of computer or device you are using and which photo storage site yiu host your pics in. I had to read a lot in google about how to c&p pics from my Samsung tablet but i couldnt find anyone to explain it to me but just happened to stumble on how to do it al by my lonesome! Kind of surprised i figured it out! Lol!

I have a Dell computer. Also a Samsung tablet. I have never tried to post pictures from the tablet.I use PB.

Could you perhaps upload a new picture & try posting it. Wonder if there might be something wrong with the ones you are trying to post. Usually when you get the dreaded red x it means the picture isn't available. |

Mary-In photobucket select the picture you want to post a pic of. One the right side of the screen you will see a box of several link choices. The 2nd one says Direct. Click on the code located behind Direct. Usually just clicking on it you will see it highlight quickly in yellow and it says copied. Sometimes its fussy and you have to click on it a couple times.Come back to this site and in Reply click the icon that looks like a picture. Paste the code in the Image URL box. All you need to do is Ctrl V to paste the link in that box, no need to click on it. Then click insert. Your photo should appear.

Angela, I did upload two new pictures and still got the red x and I tried over and over again with no luck. Thank you so much for trying to help me. I really appreciate that you took the time! Mary Mary, would you have a family member or a friend who you would trust with your PB password who might be able to help you? Just another stab in the dark here but have your cleared your cache & your cookies lately on your browser? Strangely that sometimes clears out problems. If you consider clearing the cookies remember that will delete any passwords you may have saved at your favorite sites. Also, do you have another browser on your computer? I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer but there are others like FireFox or Google Chrome. So wish I could help you & I know how very frustrating it is when things don't work. |

Hopefully this will help. I took some screen shots with my phone to show you what you are looking for. Click on the pic you want on photobucket. Then do this.  Then come back to proboards and do this.  Click Insert and your picture will be in your post. Click on Create Post to finish. |

I hope Mary sees this and is able to figure out what she is doing wrong. You guys are the best at helping her...I know nothing about PB and have confused people, so I just keep my mouth shut (you find that hard to believe, don't you given the number of posts I have..) lol
Melissa...great screen shots and hopefully a good night sleep and those pictures will help Mary start to post. Abey struggled for quite some time, but finally has it mastered...and Mary will too. Charlene

Good evening folks,
Thank you charlene for the notice you posted in Midwest chat about more help waiting for me here! I have been so busy today. I accomplished a ton of things and now I am ready to give the picture posting another try before I go to bed.
Like I have said before, I have posted pictures for years in Back Yard Chat but for the past two years no luck. At least I get the tiny box now with the red x and that is something. Haha. Progress!
So before I do anything else I will try cleaning out my cache and cookies and see if that helps.
wildflowers thank you for posting the pictures but that is exactly how I have always done it and still do but the picture never appears. Just those numbers and letters. One time in another forum someone said because of that she had been able to look at all of my photos in PB! All of them!!Over a thousand!I was shocked.
I feel that it has to be something wrong with my computer.I do appreciate your trying so hard to help me. I am sure those pictures will benefit others!!
