Good Morning,  Another cloudy morning, but I think I hear the word SUN today, but then snow coming in for tonight.  its 29* and going to a high of 40*.  Yesterday was the coldest day on record for April 17.  Not a good record, seems like I hear that from someone else, maybe Lair.  Today is booth day only taking a few things up, as we didn't hit any sales last week :).   I'm not sure if Ray is getting his hair cut today or not, its getting close to 6 weeks.  I have a few things to do before going.  Seeing I can see so much better, I have some dust webs to get in the corner of the kitchen.  One thing I would like to do today is the back deck, its so slippery from the ice, rain and snow, its dangerous, I have to walk very slow.


Lair,  I can feel your pain, we love our fur babies.  On the closet this is my plan, do the top shelf first everything comes off, then the hanging clothes everything comes out, then the floor, everything comes out, should take me about 3 days.  Don't want to over do in one day LOL.  

Kay,  I have 4 vacuums and use only one.  One in the garage, 1 in the basement, 1 in the family room and the shark, which I use the most.  

Mary,  I bet the house is quiet now that DD has left.  Glad she is home safe now.

MaryMi,  Sure hope you hear from your Dr.  Anything or anyone new is hard on us.  Don't like change.

Leroy,  Sorry about the MRI,  I have had a couple, not fun, just had to do it.

Good Morning!

The wind is really howling out there again. I have a table full of geraniums blooming downstairs and it looks like they will have to spend a lot longer down there, as we have another weekend with highs in the 40"s At least there is a chance of rain. Best chance we have had in 4 months, so keep your fingers crossed, as we have more wildfires burning already today.

Leroy, sorry about the MRI, lots of people have that happen to them.

Carol, be careful on that deck. When I got my new glasses, I didn't notice the cobwebs but did see some new wrinkles.

Good morning Carol, Kay and all who follow.

Our high is to be 40° and drizzly early on today so no raking again today. I guess that is okay because there is an enormous pile of things on the laundry room door waiting for me to press them. Did I mention, I hate ironing?

We only had one BB game yesterday and it was not too bad. They had to win the first to continue playing in the tournament and they made some big mistakes that cost them...The other season game that was originally planned for yesterday was cancelled. Some day I hope it is warm and we do not have to bundle up like it is football season.

I must have missed Leroy's follow up post about his MRI, so looked it up on last nights chat site.  A hint Leroy...I have always tried to go into it very tired and then when that roof is a few inches above your nose, I close my eyes and try to sleep or act like I am sleeping.  They had to give me something once since I could not hold my shoulder still that long to complete it...that is when I found out I had a torn rotator cuff.   Hope the next time works out for you.

On a positive note, I looked out the east window to discover one daffodil is blooming.

Good Morning, I got up to b right sun shine but within a half hour I had to turn on the lights.  About 8:30 it started snowing and now we have over 3 inches and still can not see 300 feet.  I am not doing anything today since all I had planned was laundry and that is in the dryer.  Leroy, I know your feeling on the MRI.  I have tried 4 times and nearly finished the first time.  Everytime since then My heart has raced so bad they would not do it.  Also when they say more open, I did not notice any difference between the two.  They both are very close to my face.  Good luck and I hope it works for you.  Kay. yesterday I got all my vacuums out and the attachments. They work much better when you use the right parts with the right vac. and plug them in. I also discovered I have 6 of them so I have no excuse for not having a clean house. Carol, I hope you don't get the storm we are getting.  It is so depressing.  Connie, do you have any games today? There is nothing here that isn't cancelled.  I see one collage is closed until next Monday. A lot of places are having trouble because their snow removal contracts run out April 15.  Lots of parking lots full of snow.  We,, I need to get moving and take a shower.  You all have a good day and stay safe.

Good? Morning All, It started snowing at 10 and it was really coming down for that first hour. We got 2" in that first hour but it's slowed down now but still heavy. It's supposed to be snowing until after 7 according to the radar. I just keep telling myself that this will be gone by next week. It's supposed to be 45º tomorrow and keep rising and get up to 62º by Monday. 
 
I said I would post a link to the shooting in town. My DD said this guy was weird even back in her school days. Sad but I'm not surprising that this happened. In the picture of the trailer court, that first trailer on the right is about where our trailer sat from 81-85 before we sold it and moved to this house. 

I need to go read as I started this 2 hrs. ago. I've been spending my time watching and feeding birds.

Hi everyone, Dave just left. He cut up the big old pine tree today and will stack it another day. Cold out there but nice and sunny and no snow flakes so far.

We had a nice lunch. A casserole , mixed veggies and coconut pie. So easy to make.

He moved a couple of things for me and filled two feeders.

My parakeet gets so vocal when I have company. Goes on and on when it hears conversations.

Leroy, the last mri that I had was the easiest. I requested the one that they call 'open'. Always while inside I do not open my eyes and also they place a wash cloth over my eyes.

I have always been able to complete the test but 8 years ago I burst into tears as soon as I got out of that 'casket'.
It was at ten at night and I am a morning person so that had a lot to do with it. Was tired before it even started of course.


While inside I try to escape to a beautiful special place in my mind. A place in the Sierra Mountains near Truckee, Ca.

I am very claustrophobic.

My Dr. Has one examination room with no windows and one with several up high. If I am taken to the closed in one I ask for the other.

Well things keep hiding and I may have to give in and move. NOT!

Cant believe iPad is hiding. I always plug it in before I go to bed. First thing to unplug it - not there. I have phone plugged in at a friends on 5th. this is 3rd tome to do that. 

I made a to do list - find iPad, phone cord, crazy glue and wood glue.  Any one want to come help? I gave up and not going to look for a while.

Have many other things to do. Windy, 31 and cloudy. Might get some snow.

Just hoping for good weather when DD comes in sat PM. Then sun tp DM to see DS's family and then shop.

Need to get back to work. Worked late last night and hit call button 2 times. Wearing it different today!

I used to have wash cloth over eyes, but did MRI a few days ago and just closed eyes. Not sure - but I guess I just lay and pray and think about my blessings.

Thinking of other things is what a little lady at church taught us. So crippled with RA but kept working till 2 weeks before she passed. they carried her into church and sat her beside me for Christmas eve service. She died in Feb. It was always about you and not her and she kept the questions coming. she read a lot and we really learned so much from this tiny angel!

Good afternoon all well it snow another couple of inches again this morning and now the sun is trying to shine, I guess this year we are to get April snow showers instead of rain for the May flowers. Not one leaf on any of the trees and they aren’t even trying to leaf out yet been to darn cold. The website for the last 2 days wouldn’t let me log in again it does that every now and then and then it is fine always gives me a 513 code whatever that means. I been good busy shipping plants to customers the places around here are finally taking their orders but they aren’t having any customers with all the snow and cold. I sure hope it doesn’t go right into summer after all this.  I will try to get on tonight and write more and answer some questions. Have a great day everyone and God Bless!

Leroy's comments about the MRI were in last nights Chit Chat. I personally would tell them straight up that I will freak out. I can't even watch things that are in tight spaces especially things that are underground. 

I'm guessing we're up to about 5" of snow right now. I even had 4 male Cowbirds which was a shock to me. I've only ever had one pair show up here at my feeders.
