Gayle-I so look forward to seeing those again. Donna-I'm sure you still miss her. My mil has a white and liver colored mini schnauzer named Odie. Mary-Those tulips are sure spring like. We will all be so happy if spring ever comes. Here was my big visitor yesterday evening. I sat down at the table to eat dinner and a crow flew by the window and caught my eye. When I looked out I saw the eagle perched at the top of a dead tree that sits between us and our neighbors, right on the edge of our yard. I thought maybe it was eating something, but I think it was maybe just pulling bark off the top of the tree. The pics aren't perfect since I was literally sitting at the dining table taking them, thru a window, with lots of branches between me and him (her?). I'm going to be keeping an eye on that tree now. I saw an eagle the day prior that flew by really close, and when I watched this one take off yesterday it made the same sweeping path by the house, so guessing it was the same one I saw the other day and it had probably been on this same tree. Dd and I had seen 2 of them a month ago at the top of some trees way back in our woods. I'm wondering if they are nesting somewhere nearby.

Oh Melissa - what a sight to see while eating supper!! So glad you had your phone handy 😊
Love the spring flowers - we have crocus out, daffodils are up about 4" and haven't seen any sign of tulips yet. Our 4 footed friends are always so special.

Tasty-I actually used the digital camera. A much nicer zoom than the phone. Our secretary sits in the dining room and was right behind the chair I was sitting on and thats where the camera was. I didn't even have to stand up to grab it, but I did have to quick change the batteries (also kept in the secretary!).

Gayle...gotta love those daffs in the Spring! Donna...she's so cute and I know you still miss her and she will always hold a special place in your heart. Mary...love your tulips and your creative framing! Melissa...great pictures. I bet if you put on your snow shoes and walked through the woods, you may spy their nest. They are huge and easy to see before the trees leaf out. A gazania blooming in my GH. I got this from my neighbor last fall when she was going to throw it. I love the color.

Melissa, how awesome. I have never seen an eagle that I can remember, and I'm sure I wouldn't forget a sight like that.
Lair, I'm sure those will be gorgeous when they open.

Wow Melissa, great shots glad your camera was nearby.
Charlene, gorgeous gazania, I’m glad you saved it.
Lair, your Passion Flower is beautiful. You’re sure doing something right to have 8 Amaryllis blooming. I only planted one this year and so far it’s all leaves.

Lair, your Amaryllis flowers are beautiful. I’m thinking mine is all leaves as it’s either in to shady an area or the bulb may have been lifted too soon and the dormancy period was too short. I have had some beautiful Amaryllis over the years however, this happened once before and that year we went months without much if any sunlight. This year I planted the bulb the last day of February and since then it’s been rainy with overcast days with only a couple days of sunlight. I moved this to the computer room on one of the only days we had some sunshine.
