Hello ! SHE IS HOME ! DGD got released and is home. Thanks for all the prayers and nice thoughts for her.
Tasty, hope the doctor can determine what's wrong and get it all fixed. I loved Williamsburg when we were there, too.
Lori, it's just like you to share your bounty with others! I know she will appreciate the material.
Today we did not get around very early. We finally got on the road about 11 and headed to Manchester. We ate lunch at the Red Arrow diner. It's a place that Guy Fieri and Triple D went to back in 2007. It was pretty good. I had shepherds pie and DH had poutine with kielbasa. We came right back and checked on the truck. They had just finished it so we left the rent car and paid and got our truck back. It's so nice and roomy compared to the Rogue that we were driving. Also the road noise was so loud it made it hard to hear the radio.
We stopped by the store and bought some hot dogs, and later on DH will build a fire and we'll roast some hot dogs-mine will be black!!
We watched a movie lastnight. Our DGD told us it was good , and it was. It's NOW YOU SEE ME. I know that the sequel came out this past summer and I've seen it for sale. I think I will buy it next time I find it.

I just got home about 4:00 from South Sioux City. Went to get all utilities in my name guess it is on me brother doesn't want it and neither do I!! I am going to go to attorney and get it settled and sold. I went through the house again and it is to much work to repair everything and will sell it as is. Will cost me $3,000 for probate and plus whatever!! Will take all costs off the top when sold to get my money back. I know how my Mom cleaned and took care of her house. It is a shame how the last 19 years were treated there. I don't think walls were ever washed it is a big shame. I just want rid of it!!
Red was glad to see me come home. He likes me not working and babying him ! He was on my lap purring and got his petting then went to his chair to sleep.
They said tonight Omaha had 95* weather today. It was sure warm.
I stopped at Subway and got a tuna sandwich for supper and it was sure good. So will sit and rest the leg is so tired of the cast today.

A great big hug coming your way (((Marlene))). How sad family could not take care of the house.
I got in to see the doctor this afternoon and he thinks it is a virus that's going to take it's own time to clear up. Glad it's nothing more serious but I had been hoping he would wave that magic wand and it would be gone. Oh well, nothing I can do but take it easy - no bending over to wash floors. Luckily, I am still functioning, just a bit slower.
Hubby drove me to the doctor and decided he really should make an appointment for himself as well for his arm which has been bothering him most of the summer. He expected it would be some time in the future. They took him straight after me!!
Glad to see that DGD has gone home already Tammy. Now she can get back to being a teenager.
Tonight we're having shepherd's pie.

A quick check in tonight -- just got in from a haircut after work. DH put chicken pot pie in the oven when he got home so it's almost ready and it sure smells good!
Whoever was talking about lasagna made me want some. I need to have a "lasagna day" sometime soon and get some in the freezer.

Ann- It is an 8 hour plus drive for me and there are usually about 20 people there. This will be my 4th visit.
Marlene- Hugs to you! Sorry you have t deal with all of this.
Chris (eating 2 poached eggs for supper cause she fell asleep!) Oh Yes she has and HC with them!!

Well I am back on! Been trying off and on all day. Finally decided to change my password. I write them down each time snd now on #3 haha!
Just wanted to say I have been praying for your Granddaughter Tammy. So glad she is home and can begin her recovery and enjoy her senior year.
Im watching DWTS so ill type tomorrow. Seeing Chiropracter early so hope to get on sooner.
