Good Morning !
It's rainy here today. I think they can use the rain up here.
DH found a church nearby so we will go to the service at 11, and most likely come back home. It's not a good day for sight seeing so will wait until time to head to Keene and meet up with Chris. Applebee's sounds great. We will see you at 4!

Good morning. Never made it here yesterday. In fact never turned the computer on yesterday. Had a good time with Cameron at his soccer tournament yesterday morning. We got home a little afternoon but it had been a long day already with about 2 1/2 hours of driving then almost 3 hours of soccer.
Last night for dinner I had one of those throw something together. I had a piece of leftover corn flake crusted chicken left so decided to use it. Sauteed a couple of serrano chilies and chopped garlic in butter then made a simple white sauce. Warmed up the chicken and some frozen peas in the sauce and ate it over toast. It was really good. Must remember that for another time.
Tonight my plan is to have schnitzel with a sour cream paprika sauce, spaetzle and cooked cabbage of some sort.
Hope Chris and Tammy have a great time meeting tonight for dinner. It is so great when you get an opportunity to meet in person folks from the boards.
Chris, are you going to make that motorcycle trip on your NY trip this fall?
Have a great day.
Bet

Good Sunday morning to one and all. I just can't decide what I want to do today-- one of those day's that a person jumps from one idea to another without making up your mind. When I do that it usually ends up with me doing nothing worthwhile. It will be interesting to see how this day ends up. I don't like when I'am so undecided. I hope this makes sense to you. Do you ever have day's like this? I would like to go to Sam's club today, but will have to wait and see if daughter is willing to take me. If not I might make it there this week. I have a few items to pick up there for my granddaughters reception party in Oct. What is everyone having for dinner on this fine Sunday? I hope you all have a good day.

Went to church first and we had fellowship also. My brother called and was all concerned what to do with mom's house. Will have to see what shape it is all in when they leave. I plan to go up there Tuesday and see all that as think they will be leaving Wednesday, that was the last plan. More worries for me coming up.
Chuck came and glued the solar lights down on the brick, brought over the shelves for me for a cupboard they brought in from the shop. Now will have a place for all my containers you never know where to put them. Especially when you don't have a lot of cupboards. It is all white so cleaned it all up and looks nice.
Had Macaroni salad, roast beef sandwich with tomato and salad dressing on it. That was dinner and think will take out some Bratwurst patties for supper or a small steak. Going to go out and mow and get it done for a few days. Can't believe it has stayed so green this year. Never did slow down on the mowing.
Have a wonderful day! Marlene

We had lunch with our nephew, a student at Clemson University. We met at our favorite BBQ place. They are very generous with their portions so we all had plenty of food to take home. I had my usual "pork tater" -- loaded baked potato covered with pulled pork. So good.
Later this afternoon I'm going to the theater for the play we didn't get to on Friday night. I have library books to return so will do that either on the way there or on my way home. Tonight the Packers are playing on Sunday Night Football so I hope to watch at least some of that before bedtime.
Tammy and Chris, y'all have fun!

Good afternoon! I am at Starbuck's doing you all know what!!
Sara- The visit with my Mom went better than last weeks visit. She only got aggressive one time and I was able to divert her. DH did not come as he is not feeling any better at all.
Tammy I hope the church service was good there.
Bet- We are thinking that if it is good weather around Columbus day we will make the tip then. The Bike has one more good trip in it we think. If not we will come in the car! But we really want to come over. I will let you know when we have it all set up. Will be good to meet you! I love meeting up with people too!
Marlene- You have had a busy day! Our lawn has dried up some so DH has not cut it for a week or more. Waiting for this rain to stop tomorrow and see how it looks. Sorry about all the worries you have ahead of you. Still holding you close in my heart! ((((Mar)))))
emr- I am so looking forward to meeting with Tammy. I love the sounds of that potato! I have not had that before but must try it!
We are going to Sanibel Island in February Near Ft. Myers. Is there anyone I can meet down there?? Lori and Helen How close am I going to be to either of you? WE will be there for a week.
Chris enjoying her HC!

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a lovely relaxing Sunday. Yes, Sara, Sunday is for relaxing & no stressing about what to do! 😊 Obviously I have no problem doing nothing & that is pretty much what is happening here. I have done all I plan on doing anyhow. My daughter & her family are bringing supper over. My only contribution was a recipe and setting the table/doing the dishes . How easy is that? 😊 Chris & Tammy, have a wonderful get together. Looking forward to hearing all about it & just maybe a picture or three! Enjoy yourselves.
Will be checking back in later for sure!

I put some boneless spare ribs in the electric roaster a while ago and will cover them with bread dressing in a while and quarter some small potatoes to add to the roaster with the dressing, too. Will fix a veggie of some kind to go with it and also, some applesauce.
That is my supper meal today........................A warm day here today with sun and rain for later on the TV said. We had hard rains last night and then heard them off/on all night, too. At least we didn't get the tornado that was predicted for our area of the state or the bad thunderstorms like some places did.

It's wet, very warm, and muggy today. AC's are on, but not complaining...we have rain!!! Usual Sunday for us...read the paper, relax, maybe take a nap (I did!!!), have supper. Watching Ciao Italia right now...Marianne Esposito is a local chef from Portsmouth, NH. Took several classes from her; she is a fantastic Italian chef...have three of her books. Tonight we're having black bean soup with bread. DH made TOH's Favorite Hamburger Stew using ground bear meat (tastes like hamburger, honest) He will let it mellow, and we will have it this week. Waving to all!

It's been one super busy day. Have been on the go since I woke up with getting groceries and cooking. Just taking a quick break before I have to go back into the kitchen and finish things up for dinner---beef stroganoff over egg noodles, butternut squash, and blond toffee brownies.
Chris, right now, pretty much all vacation time is spent going up to help DH's parents back in Michigan. MIL is in late 80's, FIL in his 90's. Their daughter that lives just down the road from them (nor their son that lives here in Orlando area) does nothing for them--it all falls on my DH and his baby sister in Tucson (we have to take turns every 3-4 months). DH and I spent time on our honeymoon in Vt.--beautiful place and maybe one day we'll get back there and could see you. When you come down to Florida in February, you'll be south of me maybe 100-130 miles. If possible, DH and I would love to meet up with you and your DH, but just can't make a promise right now that far out.
Tammy and Chris, as I write this you should be visiting and eating dinner at Applebee's. Bet you are having a wonderful time together!!
Teaching 1st grade tomorrow. Not looking forward to playground/recess time--no sign of weather cooling down here yet. High was 93* and heat index made it feel like 110*.
Waving to all and wishing you a lovely, relaxing evening. Lori

Hi again, We are having steak tonight with French fries.
We had the a/c off for a few days but like Ann said, it's hot and muggy so it's on again.
Chris and Tammy, have a great time. I'm meeting Tammy and her husband next month and looking forward to it.
Sara, Oh YES I do have days where I am Indecisive and I don't like those days.
Angela, how nice of your daughter to bring dinner over. Do you know what you're having?

I enjoyed the play very much. They didn't alter the wording at all, which I understand, but it made it a little confusing since all the "he"s were actually "she"s. But for a group of young actors, in a small local theater group's first season, I thought they did a very good job.
Angela, what a nice dinner you have to look forward to. That's great to have family close by.
Hot and muggy here too. It was so nice yesterday but today the clouds have rolled in and it's sprinkling just a little bit. I wish it would just go on and rain!
