Lori- Rice-a-rama is a motorcycle gathering for just Japanese bikes. Terrible name but bikers get it and are not offended by it at all. We have a Suzuki Cavalcade. It is a classic as there were only in the world ever made between 1984 to 1987 Ours is an 86 LXE. Touring edition. DH also has a Suzuki RD400 he rides. Chris

Good evening ! A long day of driving but only cloudy for a few hours and not much rain. We made it to Conway and North Conway-DH bought a new pair of shoes at the outlet mall. We bought steaks and cooked those when we got home, so had a late supper but it was good. Tomorrow we hope to find a church and since there is a good chance of rain, we may go and see the movie Sully. I have been hearing that it was good.
Betsy, sure hope you don't have to replace the ac. Yes, we will be going down to southern N.H. next week.
Marlene, sorry about all the "drama" going on. Drive carefully tomorrow.
Oh Chris, that is so sad about the bridge. DH looked on our list and it doesn't look like we made it over to that bridge.
We stopped for lunch at the "Almost There" café. DH had a burger and I had a bowl of really good French Onion soup.
That's all for now..need to jump in the shower and wash my hair. Sleep well friends!

Hello to All, Marlene, I am so sorry that you have to deal with so much so soon. The added issues just makes things more difficult than they should have to be. You are tough, you can get through this too.
Tammy, I hope DGD is feeling better....I did a little reading about her problem (I have never heard of it) and it sounds like it is very painful. Enjoy your time in Vermont and N. H.......two places I would love to see. I had a pen pal in N.H. when I was in high school. I am sorry there wasn't a tour at K/A, but as Chris said lots had changed there. Chris, I read about the bridge....such a shame that this happens when it has been around so long....they seem to think it was arson. Nancy, I hope the weather co-operates and you can have the party....it sounds like you have a very busy household.
Be safe and be watchful this week-end....a friend of mine works for a large store and all employees had to watch a 20 minute film Re: soft targets. Doris

Thanks to all of you! Hope no one ever has to deal with what I am dealing with!! I only hope I can keep my cool and not say anything terrible!!
Went over to Chuck's tonight to take back his hose and sprinkler as the grass is coming in fine. I told him I wanted to take Jason, wife and two boys and Chuck and wife to supper next Friday night. I so appreciate all the work they done for me. Made it a nice place to come home too. They got rid of so many things that needed to be rid of and tilled and seeded grass I bought and with rains it is looking so good. I appreciate everything they done for me! So will wait to hear if they can go.
Then went to folks and took toilet paper, and paper towels and soap to them. spend $5700 a month for living they don't furnish toilet paper?? that was furnished when they paid $1600 before. Need to take MIL to Omaha as she can not hear again. He did not get the ear cleaned last time. the hearing aid does not work because of all the fluid in her ear. This is a never ending job.

Just plain greed! I don't think so, but throwing it out just in case...order grocery items on Amazon Grocery...you can set up redelivery.
