I have no idea where this recipe originated. I copied it from mom's recipes before I was married in the 1970's so it's been around for awhile. I'll print it exactly as I copied it so there won't be an ingredient list as it's incorporated into the recipe.
FRENCH POTATO SALAD (cold)
Place in bowl 3 cups cooked cubed potatoes (room temperature) 1/4 cup finely chopped onion Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. salt dash of pepper Mix lightly with 1/4 cup French Dressing (I use the basic Kraft creamy French) Chill 3 to 4 hours (important) Toss lightly with 3/4 cup Miracle Whip or other similar (NOT mayo) 3-4 cubed hard cooked eggs 4 oz. jar of well drained (pat dry) diced pimento chopped green onions including part of the green (to taste) Blend carefully Garnish with a paprika sprinkle Can easily be doubled
