Dishes are all done and time to sit awhile. Made Chicken Enchiladas, New squash, zucchini baked dish and left over cheese potatoes. Strawberry/Lemon dessert. Now it is sit time for me. No more cooking today!
This 'ol foot is sure hurting in the boot today, think will take it off and see if I can make it more comfortable. I have a bad bunion on that foot so got a pad for it today. That might be what is hurtin'.
Took Marge some tomatoes, and neighbor Sherri came over and got some too. Thanks to Chuck. He has 6 plants and picked 100 tomatoes yesterday. He gives me the summer squash, Sweet corn and tomatoes.
Hope you all have a nice day. Marlene Marlene sorry to hear your foot is hurting so bad. Take good care and give it a break from all the work you do for one day. Thinking of you. Sara

I also am sorry about your aunt dying, Chris. What a wonderful age to be able to live to be and sad as it is to lose her, it's nice she didn't suffer. It's always a shock to family and friends when it happens so quickly. It must have been fun to talk with her about all the changes around her that happened in her lifetime.
Two annoying colds in this house so today's menu consisted of chicken soup, sliced tomatoes, and lots of fresh fruit, all nice slippery things for the throat. However, later there just might be a piece of peach kuchen but that counts as fruit also, right??

Chris, Sorry about your DH aunt. Oh the stories I'm sure she could tell just shy of 100 years old.
Tasty, I love raspberries so that crumble of yours is right up my alley.
Time to unwind here. Goodnight everyone.
Nancy

Good evening Friends. I am so sad today as we lost a wonderful Aunt. She was just shy of 100! She has been so sharp for so long that it seems strange she would go so quickly. Went into the hospital this morning not feeling good and passed at 1:20pm. Glad she did not suffer long though. So we will be going to PA later this week I think. Chris So sorry about your Aunt. Take care and remember the good talks you had with her. Sara
