Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Leroy, so happy to hear you’re going to your sisters. Enjoy your visit. It’s so nice to be able to visit with others. Carol, 27* here at 6:15 and supposed to stay like that all day. Chance of flurries. We won’t see a Turkey dinner here until Christmas. Something we’re both looking forward to. Lair, have an enjoyable visit with Dale. How long is he staying? Had a nice visit yesterday afternoon with our good friends. Really, our only friends left, and there were so many at one time. Most have passed away, several have moved to other cities to be close to their families. Don’t see them very often, mostly just talk on the phone. Off to the bank this morning. Then, back home for the day. Jan

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. These kids have their dinner on Sat. And, I won't be cooking . I just give DIL some $ to help. She doesn't want me to do that but she does all the work and I appreciate it. It is rainy and dreary now. Hope all of you are well. 🍗

I hope you all had nice day. I did. Davebrought so much food and two grandsons came. Judy's sons. We ate at noon! I like that as then you have the rest of the day to do whatever. Well my whatever was I suffered from indigestion.was miserable for an hour. I over ate and with cranberry juice things did not go well.
The guys all had left. Dave to go to his sons home for dinner and Mike and Mark to their homes to watch the Lions game.
I got better and had a good nap then watched the Yellowstone marathon.
Jill called today, Joni calls at 8:30 and
I plan to go to bed early and read.
Had a few snow flurries today. Good night to everyone. M in M

Just checking in. Bryan brined the turkey and cooked it in a roaster bag inside the roaster. Only a tiny spot of plastic to clean off one little spot. We had plenty of juice for gravy. Bryan was in heaven eating my dressing. I used poultry seasoning, but I think I'll go back to sage or at least add extra sage next year. Brylie took over making the fruit salad for her Aunt Valerie. She also cut up the potatoes after her dad peeled them. Hudson helped his dad put the cranberries, apple, and orange through the grinder. His dad added the can of crushed pineapple and sugar, and then Hudson stired it all together. I made the gravy while Bryan whipped up the mashed potatoes. We all sat down for dinner at 12:30. Not too bad. It all was amazing! We ate the same leftovers for supper. We also had rhubarb pie and the pumpkin cream cheese log. Yup, stuffed for sure. I hope you all had a great day also.
