MIDWEST: Monday November 25

Good Cloudy morning,  Its 40 going to about 44, temps aren't going anywhere.  Cool down coming Thursday.  Today will be my usual Monday but with a few extra stops.  I need to get new tires I will order them today and have them put on next Monday.  A few bucks I'm sure, would like to wait until after Christmas, but Jerry said no right away.  Don't want to be driving on snow with bad tires.  Seem like I just got new ones.  Also want to stop at Aldi's dont know why just to look.
Yesterday I potted up 7 geraniums those went to the family room, I left the scented geraniums in the same pot but gave it a good trim.  Family room is cooler they will do just fine.  
I really gave the bathtub a good cleaning, looks so much better.  Warmer months are hard on the house.

A bit warmer today. It is 54 now.
I had a little visitor, hadn't seen him in several
days ( that made my day.
His Grandpa is teaching him to count on his
fingers. Growing up way too fast.
I put some lentils in my crockpot. I will add
them to my leftover veggie soup.
Ate an egg sandwich for breakfast.
Need to get a grocery list ready. Hope the
kids go shopping on Wed.
They do Thanksgiving on the Sat. after.
Glad I don't have to cook a big meal.

One month till Christmas/my birthday.
Next Wed. Is my MRI. 😐

Good Morning.  Cloudy and cool here too.  Looks like this will be the warmest day of the week with our 33 degrees we have right now.  Sat the high will be 20 if they are correct.  I had a rough night last night.  I was up every hour between the bathroom and my ventilator machine.  That machine wants to force way too much air in and doesn't let me exhale enough.  My Dr. was coming tomorrow but has decided to come over today. I have made a list of things to do today but may not be doing much on the list unless I get some ambition. I just feel like a nap  but as soon as I do there will be someone here.  I think I will turn on some lights and that may make me feel better.  I hope you all have big plans for Thursday and enjoying it with family.  You have a good one.

Good morning.  26, going to 38, with partly sunny sky.

No snow predicted for here all week.  Got a call from my sister last night inviting us to there house for Thanksgiving, so won't have to worry about the weather.  Hope we get to go.  It's 65 miles from here - partway by Interstate, and the rest through little towns.  Takes about 1 1/2 hours, so not too bad.

Watched a little football, tennis, horse racing and news yesterday.  I also worked on Kriston's (therapist and cousin) family tree.  Took me a while to get going on it, then it just started falling in place.  She only mentions her grandma, but he was married to two other women.  He is not buried with the grandma.  I have a few lines back into the 1500's so far.  If I see her tomorrow, I think she will be surprised.

Just checking in. We had snow this morning but it didn't stick around. I spent yesterday afternoon raking leaves to the curb. I checked and the cut off date was Thanksgiving or a large snow fall. They were here at 1:12 and made 4 passes to clean them all up. Good to go until next year.

No breakfast at the cafe today as Sandy isn't open on Mondays. We had an 11:30 appt. to get both our covid shots (left arm) and flu shots (right arm). So far we both have very minuscule pain; mine is the covid and hubby's is the flu. I think it's just from the long needles. I only had a tiny pinpoint of bleeding from the covid shot.

Stopped and talked to the lawyer about the new wills, and we'll sign them tomorrow. 

I came home and measured out all the ingredients for my dressing/stuffing. All I have to do now is make it. 

When I was down in the basement I chased some fungus gnats with the little vac down in my basement flower room. I need to try some apple cider vinegar, or hang some tape. I've done nothing else but feed my face. Might try some dish soap/water on the soil. They might have come in with my own plants or the ones that I split up from the greenhouse. I think they were here before those 6 plants came in. 

Well, off to do nothing.

Late getting here. Today was cookie day. made a batch and a half and we had a few left for just us. Have two baggies plus the cookie can to take tomorrow...the baggies are for Bob the coffee guy (He makes decaf and fills my cup, the other for Eric who sometimes buys me butterscotch chips to use in the cookies). After that I made a trip to Costco and did most of my Christmas shopping...I need sizes yet for Youngest DGGS.

Off to bed as 5 AM seems to get earlier every week!
