Good Morning, No sun today, its 40 going to about 43. Its misting right now. I do think we will go and pick up Ray's meds. Going to run the vacuum in the family room, and do a little dusting. Not sure what else. The doors might go back to menards today, Brad and Michelle will take them back, as they ordered them and everything is in her name. But we paid for them. Not much going to happen today. Yesterday was a OK, day, I did get all the bulbs dug and now are drying in the garage. The cannas bulbs were putting up new growth. I only losted one dalhia, the pot was so wet it rotten. It wasn't too bad digging as the ground was pretty wet. I'm glad thats all done, now just to dry them. I might have to put a small fan on them.
Thats it for now

33' this morning. I will be indoors, as usual these days. The pecan bread is pretty good. I froze most of it. I started my laundry. Anything I do is truly a struggle, but it has to be done. I will crochet some and read some and watch some tv. I hope all of you are doing good. 🦋🦋

Good Morning Everyone! Sunny cool morning here in Texas. Yes, Carol, we did get 3” of rain…if we were still at our old house with the garden, would have been thrilled but I am always happy for a rainy day here at the cottage too. Keith came home WTH 2 beautiful Christmas Cactuses…a white one and a dark pink one. For some reason, our old one didn’t take the move very well. Got my Christmas order in for K’s puzzles so he will keep busy. Just finished a lovely one that reminds me of the streams and woods in NY where I grew up. Hope everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving. Am cooking a turkey breast since the oven is really too small for a good sized turkey. Pecan pie for dessert. Have a good day!

Good morning. 37, going to 55, with mostly sunny sky.
Didn't go to PT yesterday. Adam has been having some problems this week. Hopefully, that will clear up by Tuesday.
Football today. Several big games. There's also horse racing, so if football gets too one-sided, I can always watch that.
Have a good day, everyone.

Morning. No sun here today, it's supposed to be cloudy most of the day and C O L D . Have been reading but really nothing going on here to mention. My kids just left after bringing me several bags of salt for the water softener which should hold me thru the winter. It's an "on demand" softener so only goes off when needed and with me being the only one here and I have a shower saver water head I don't go thru a lot of salt any more. I did go to the grocery store yesterday since I hadn't been for almost 2 weeks--yikes I almost needed to take out a small loan by the time I was thru, I feel sorry for families trying to put food on the table. My yard lawn guy was here yesterday and vacuumed up all the leaves that were done falling from my one tree in the front and then I have 3 bushes of Sedum in the back that he clipped down for me so I guess the yard is all set for winter--me--not so much
Carol that's strange about the doors being the wrong size after you measured, guess you just can't plan on anything being true to size for replacements any more.
It's hard to believe that next Thursday is Thanksgiving already, the kids and I have reservations at a local restaurant, can't cook a meal for the few of us for what we'll pay to eat--only drawback is there won't be any left overs to munch on.
Guess that's about all I have--I have such a "thrilling" life. Everyone one take care and
Have a GREAT THANKSGIVING in case I don't post again before then.

Good afternoon. I am late getting here. I have been setting new records on how slow I move. Yesterday I tried the service at the grocery store. I went online and placed the order for the things I need for me and the stuff I need for Thanksgiving. I di very good with the ordering except I forgot milk. The gal from hospice called and told them she was outside at the time I had selected and they brought it out and put it in the car. She then brought to my house and brought it in. I put a lot away while she carried the bags in. After that she told me to sit and direct her where t put the rest of the stuff. The main gal from hospice came over later and di my bi-weekly exam. Everything is about the same except they changed some medication. Hopefully I will be able to sleep longer. Last night I had to get up just under every 2 hours. Then it takes a half hour to get my ventilator back on and running. I'm almost as tired in the morning as I am at night. We have been trying to get a tech to come and correct the settings on my ventilator. The closest tech is 45 miles west of Omaha, a 4.5 hour drive each way. There are techs in Rochester MN (45 minutes away) but they are not licensed in Iowa so they can't to my machine. I am thinking somebody got carried away making all these rules that really don't help the patients. Oh well, they will get it figured out. I'm going back to watch some more movies. Today they are playing all The Star Wars Movies. 9 or 11 but only three I have not seen yet. You all have a good day.

a QUICK STOP BY. oops caps. I crocheted this morning with plans to finish it during the Nebraska game. I have done a couple loads of laundry to catch up and the last is still in the dryer. I think I will get some frozen chicken thing from Costco out of the freezer for supper.
Finally got the candy over to the little girls next door. I removed the candy with nuts but the mom said they would have been ok with nuts...too bad as DH devoured them a long time ago or they could have had the whole bag.
The neighbors roof had frost again this morning!
Nothing else of note. Hope I make church tomorrow. Take care and stay well!

Just checking in. I did nothing today but feed my face, watch videos, and searching the internet to locate some mailing addresses. My neck was a little iffy last night, but better today. It's still not totally correct but way better.
Julie text me this morning, and then called me for a plant ID of a plant that was in a pot that was sent to the funeral home. Bryan was going to give it to Valerie's girlfriend, but we felt it would be better to give her the smaller peace lily. I brought the pot home with me with plans to transplanted what was in it to give each plant more room. I sent a picture of what she was interested in, the Dragon Tree plant. I also told her the other plant in the picture was a Parlour Palm. I told her that those two both supposedly get 3-4' tall. I don't know if she still wanted to buy one after I told her that. I've decided that I will never send someone a planter like I ended up with. Three of the plants in that pot get 2.5'-3'-4' tall. The prayer plant and the arrowhead plant both stay on the shorter side. She already has a really big Peace Lily from her neighbors. I also wasn't happy when I went to take out what I thought was a Philodendron plant. Yeah, it turned out to be nothing more than 6 rooted cuttings all clumped together to make it look like a single plant. I stuck them all in a pot by themselves.
Well, Iowa State is playing football, so I might watch that.
