Good morning. 25, going to 42, with partly sunny sky. Looks like I will be wearing long pants and a jacket tomorrow for PT. Guess shorts weather is gone.
Snow, gingerbread cookies sound kind of good right now.
Like I said in the thank you post, it was a good day yesterday with the phone calls, also a couple cards in the mail, and Arby's for dinner. I'm ready for a do-nothing day today!!
Have a good day, everyone.
Leroy

Good morning Leroy and all to come. Glad you had a good birthday. It is windy and cold here this morning. My veggie soup turned out good that I made yesterday. Will have more of it later today. I had to get up and had plans to go back to bed. Tried doing 100 steps ( in the kitchen ). Have had breakfast and have my feet propped. Hope all of you are doing well. Some days I feel like I am getting worse. As far as the back pain goes.. But, I know I could be in a worse place of this pain. You all take care. 🎶🎶

Good Morning! My goodness what a few days can change things. The morning news had construction workers in shirt sleeves and today they are in winter coats and caps. We have some snow on the ground but just spots where the wicked wind blew it. The wind was awful last night and still is today. Furnace is keeping the outside out and the warm in so all is good. I am going to take a nice long shower today. It will be nice with the bathroom all warm. Oh, I need to go and check out my arm. I noticed my sleeve is sticking to the desk. Looking it over I see the sleeve is wet with blood. I must have a scratch bleeding. I'll be back after I play doctor.

Good Afternoon, Another damp snowy day. Its 36 going to about a high of 38. We did have some snow this morning. I have been been to the Dr. and back. Good report. Ray didn't go with me so we could go to the booth as Logan was here to put our 3 doors in. No luck the doors are all too big. Guess we didn't measure right, but Logan said we did, but we got 4-1/2 and we need 3-1/2. Does't make sense to me, but it did Ray. In about 1/2 to 1 hour we will be leaving to go to the booth and we both get our hair cuts.
Thats it for now,

Good afternoon everyone. Snow, thanks for the Charlie Brown gingerbread. One of my favourite flavours. Leroy, sounds like a perfect day yesterday. Temperature here at 12:45 is 40*F, not likely to get any warmer. Lair, what a difference a working furnace is. A nice warm shower sounds good to me. Carolyn, vegetable soup is something we sure enjoy in the winter months. Have several meals of soup in the freezer. Carol, can’t wait until I get my hair cut. Not until December 10 though, hopefully she’s back from holidays. A wonderful visit with DD2 last evening. She took everything including the sewing machine for the girls. Funny thing, told you a couple weeks ago that I had finished my Christmas shopping. Well, she mentioned to me that if I hadn’t gotten anything for her yet, her baked donut pans had disappeared and she’d like some more. Her girls must have them. Off to Michael’s to see if they had any, but first, drop off some clothing at hospice thrift. Looked at their housewares area, and there they were. Even clerk there agreed with me that they looked like brand new, never used. So, guess what she’s getting from Mrs. Claus. Now we’re just having a quiet afternoon. Jan

Just a fast check in. I've done nothing today. I somehow messed my neck up yesterday sitting here at the computer. I had the start of a more mild case of vertigo. I've done multiple thing several times, and my balance is better. Not totally right but getting there. I may have to visit the chiro tomorrow if it doesn't totally go away.
I had a moment that invoked some tears. Hubby was talking to Bryan on his cellphone. He had it on speaker phone so I could also hear. I came in and sat down. Apparently Hudson came up to his dad. Bryan told him to say, "Hi," to grandpa and grandma. Hubby said hi and he replied and then I said, "Hi Hudson, how are you doing?" I heard him say to his dad, "Is that Valerie?" OMG, that just broke my heart. Just typing this brings tears to my eyes.
