Morning everyone! Hope this day finds you all well. I am back home and the everyone is back where we are suppose to be. There is still a tumor in the brain not growing so back in July to see what it is going good to do. It is the size of the tip of a crayon so not very big but still there. So nothing for now he feels good but sometimes speech doesn't come so they are sending him UNMC for therapy for it.
My sister heart went into a fib this last week so I have to take her down the first week of December to get it back into sink.
So always something for sure Wind is blow I think feels like 60 mile an hour.
Otjer than that nothing else new. Just getting stuff ready for winter and sowing seed like crazy at work
Hope you all have a great day and God Bless

Good morning everyone. Snow, sorry that the news wasn’t the best for your SIL. At least the tumour isn’t growing. Hope they can do something about it. Do you work in a commercial greenhouse? Hard work. Leroy, Happy Birthday. Enjoy your special day. Anything planned? We no longer go out of our way to celebrate, just spend a quiet day. MaryinM, you’re really in a cleaning mood these days. Slow down girl. I might do some deep junking out in January. That’s my plan to get me through the depressing months. Connie, sorry you’re having such a terrible time sleeping. Dang, can’t remember everything I read from yesterday, so I’ll just say, hope everything is going as well as can be expected with everyone. DD2 is coming for supper tonight. It’ll sure be nice to visit with her in person, instead of texting or talking on the phone. Jan

Good Morning!! Another cloudy damp day, I wonder when we will see the sun, not tomorrow as its to be a snowy, wet day. Its 43 and that is our high. Today is Hazel day and I have the crafts we will be doing today. I'm not a artist but she will be happy. Can;t do anything outside its just too damp.
I'm feeling a lot better this morning,
Snow, Not sure if this is good news or bad, but at least the tumor isn't getting bigger.
Will try to get back later.

Good Morning! It is winter here today. We are right at 32 degrees now but overnight low was 26. Furnace install came just in time. I am impressed with the new one. I timed it and it only takes 8 minutes to raise the house temp one degree. It has a different sound because every time the fan comes on the cats walk around and are looking up in the air. One cat got to the floor register and tried to dig it up. Once the fan shut off he quit trying. Joe is here cleaning this morning. I got up and had the bedding in the dryer when he got here so they are back on the bed now. I am not feeling so good now so I think I will lay down and be back later. Have a good day.

I haven't done much of anything so far. We went to breakfast, and then to the store to get my bread for making stuffing/dressing. I was sitting there thinking to myself, "Why do I have to cut this bread into cubed and dry it out, just so you can turn around and pour a whole bunch of liquid all over it?" Yeah, I know why, for the flavors in the liquid I'm adding. LOL
We had our little taste of winter show up. It started with the itty bitty snowballs, then went to flakes, and then disappeared. It's cloudy but not doing anything right now.
Snow, I got exactly what I've been praying for since this first started. I'll keep saying the same prayers. Hopefully that little 'something' will disappear. I hope the therapy can help.
Happy Birthday Leroy. I hope you have a great day.
Lair, I'm so glad they got this furnace in yesterday. I actually dug my mittens out this morning.
No plans for the rest of the day.

Mary, I have never dried my bread nor cubed it. Neither did my mother. I just tear the bread add the seasoning and mix with the bread, add the celery and onions and mix again with my hands then start adding the stock. Don't have a recipe as such just taste as I go but I just severed 29 Lions a thanksgiving dinner Monday night and they all raved about the dressing.

Bet, My recipe is the one my mom used for her church dinners, which is probably 60 years ago. I started out by decreasing it as I wasn't feeding 50-100 people. I cook the diced celery, onions, and butter together until veggies are soft. Then, I add chicken broth to the pan to get it heating up. I also add sage or poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper to this liquid. When I get this hot, I then pour all of that over the bread cubes. I start mixing it all together, and when that gets cooled down a little bit from mixing, I add beaten eggs. I always want some stuffed in the bird, and the rest goes in a baking dish.
If I didn't dry the bread I don't think it would make a very big difference. It was more just a thought that goes through my mind. LOL

Mary I agree except you might not need quite as much liquid if the bread isn't dried. I make it the same way my mom made it so I am talking over 70 years that I remember. Your recipe is the same as yours except I don't us an egg. When I am doing a bird I also want stuffing for it plus a pan to bake. We just mix it together a little difference and I don't have any measurements just taste.

Good evening. I won't spend a lot of time here as something happened to my computer and I finally got on but was no longer logged in here. When I type, it now tries to finish my sentence for me....not the usual internet access but I don't know what it is. Teh computer kept trying to get me to go to Net Gear...something I don't think I ever had or used. Spell check is totally different as well. I am wondering if they did an operating system update again and messed things up again...different version? Too tired to try to figure it out.
Have a good night. Lair so happy you have a new working furnace!!!
