Good morning. 40, going to 56, with sunshine.
I've watched tennis and news this morning. About the same as yesterday. Going to call about my flu shot, getting it set for tomorrow after PT. Should just be an in-and-out type of visit. I don't think I will get a Covid shot.

Don't know what they can do with helping my back.
Wanted to go to my cousins for a birthday party Sunday
but don't know that I can.
Hard to walk.
Try to walk around in the house, back n forth.

Good Morning. It is overcast and we have had a short shower, .03" They say a chance of showers this afternoon. I hope it warms up to above 44 degrees. Well, wish as hard as I can there is no one here installing a furnace. I did call and there are still some papers that need to be signed. I've done all I can do for now. I'm just going to take it easy today. I did go out in the greenhouse but it is only60 out there and it will be warmer tomorrow and the next day. I can water then. Maybe I will try to take a nap since I didn't get much sleep last night. I feel like I want to hurry things along with the furnace but I have done all the hurrying I can do, no sense wasting my energy and irritating everyone else. I'll let you know if things change. Good Morning, A wet morning not raining jut some mist falling. Its 45 and that is our high with no sun today. We are heading into GR to Sams club, Menards and pickup my med's. We don't need much from Sams, but we will pick up for Ida (booth).
Just a few things from the other day,
Leroy, Good job on walking with the leg, its coming, just take it slow.
Lair, Darn, hope that furance gets done today. Yes that was a 4 tier corner shelf, it was pretty big, the 3 table we put in were all pretty small.
Carolyn, How about a brace for your back. I'm just reaching I know nothing about a broken bone in the back.

Well dang it, Lair. People are so inconsiderate. Contractor's especially. They just say one thing and do another and leave you hanging. Happens all the time.
Carolyn, it would be nice if an injection could be administered but having determined that it is a broken bone That is out. Maybe there will be a solution such as a brace. I hope you get some help.
Connie, I have been thinking about what you said about your Dr. Telling you that you don't look 84. And here I am loving it when someone tells me I look 84. Lol. Isn't that hilarious? Dave is working hard. He is cleaning the gutters! Up and down that ladder.. He has already washed a lot of windows on the outside. Oh how lucky I am to have him and I tell him that all the time. He just smiles and says I love you granny! Mike will be here soon with lunch. Everyone, get well. Then stay well and think of happy memories..minm

Nothing accomplished today. I did mail some more TY notes. I only have a few left to do. I dug around and finally found my pattern for my crocheted winter hats. I didn't know where the pattern went. I just had to look deep into my tablet that was laying right beside me here on my desk. I did print off a pattern for a large 12" crocheted square. The printer printed it off, but whomever did the computer part of it did a crappy job, but it's done. I don't know if I'll ever make it though.
I gotta think about supper also.

This day was pretty good but I didn't get a thing accomplished that I had planned...I was to iron all the newish things I got at Goodwill and wrap the candy dishes, candy and ornaments for the family for Christmas...that's still waiting too. DH did drag out the ladder...He had planned to walk the roof with his leaf blower and clean all of them out...I was just concerned with the back deck as the weather wise say snow next week. When he started, I went out with the kitchen garbage can and started sweeping the deck. While he was digging the wet leaves out of the eaves, I was dumping them and also dumping the remaining pots. After he got done I blew off the deck, moved the chairs and stacked them under the covered part & 4 of them against the house but under the eave (at least a little bit). Stacked all the pots and put some things under the chairs and under the table in the covered part. Then I went in and scrubbed the kitchen garbage can (it needed it anyway) washed the counters, cleaned the sinks and used windex on the microwave, dusted and vacuumed the floor and the rugs, & crashed...my back was hurting. Watched afternoon Jeopardy then decided to make that quick veggie soup but alas no mixed veggies so made a trip to Walmart and while there I was going to try out the U card. It did not work so after I got home, finished the soup, I called United Health Care to see why the UCard failed. Turns out that they sent us new medicare/insurance cards that were printed in Oct 2023 for 2024 but we never got them. The UCard numbers I had were on the 2023 cards and we never had a 2024 card...can you believe that? All the medical things I had done this year got paid! It was a stressful last part of the day! The lady I talked to in salt lake city was very helpful and we should get new cards by the end of November...to use for a whole month!
After we had soup, I got a shower and have one load of laundry in the dryer and another one to go in.
MaryinMichigan, I think we all like it when we get any nice compliments in our later years, no matter how old we are! hope your lunch was good! Could I borrow Dave....my windows (even those I did get washed) need it all again! LOL
Lair, a great big PHOOEY! I just knew that guy would show up and install your furnace today. I guess tomorrow you need to turn on the oven and make a cake or bread...the house will be warmer and it will smell good!
