Good morning,
I have a broken bone in my lower lumbar (L4)
compressed disc. I am going to have a MRI.
He said that will determine if it is an
old injury or recent, then they can figure
out what treatment to go with ??
They will schedule me for mri and I can
go to Park West which is closer to me.
I would say in time I did the damage as I have
several falls in the past.
I hope all of you are well. And Snow I am glad.
You are getting some rain.
I am going to fix some breakfast. It is chilly.

Good morning.  45, going to 49, with rain coming pretty soon and lasting through the afternoon.  It rained off and on throughout the the night.  Not very hard most of the time.  Shows not quite a 1/2 inch so far.  Should help some.

PT went real well yesterday.  At the end, I walked out to the car, and got in.  When we got home, I did just the opposite to get out.  Didn't use the slide board.  If I'm not wearing the leg, I don't think I can do it that way.  Guess we'll see on Friday.  I'm going to put the leg on today for awhile.

Carolyn, glad they finally found out what the problem is.  Hope the MRI gives them the way to help you.  Hang in there.

Snow, glad you are getting some rain, too.

Good Morning.  We had a inspiring sunrise but in came the clouds so no sun now.  They say rain for the next 24 hours or until late tomorrow.  My hospice gal didn't show up this morning but I got the trash and recycle all together without her.  She just called to tell me that she told me there was schedule change but I don't think she did.  No big deal either way.  Joe is here cleaning so all is well.  I got a call yesterday from the furnace man.  He said barring sickness they will be here tomorrow morning to remove the old furnace and start installing the new one.  By Friday evening I should have a new working furnace.  That is good because next week we have a couple days with high in the 30's and not sure how cold at night.  Last night it was chilly with the SE wind we had.  It was really blowing.
Leroy, glad to hear you are getting along with the new leg.  Must be a challenge to get used to it.  I am having trouble changing from Flip-flops to slippers.  Feels like I am tripping.
Carolyn, glad you got to a doctor to help get rid of the pain.
Mary inMI, you sure are keeping busy.  I wish I had a Dave to come and help me around here.
Carol, good news on the sale of the cabinet.  Must have been rather large to require 3 tables to fill it's space.  
Mary, Sounds like you have a little project going on in almost every room. My Mom was like that and then one day she would work and finish all the projects up.
Connie, I hope you are finally feeling better.  You do know you could slow down a little.  Lots of things will wait.

    Snow, supposed to be raining here today but so far it’s holding off.
    Carolyn, no wonder you’ve had such pain in your back. Glad they found it and it’s fixable. Is ‘fixable’ a word?
    Leroy, you’re coming along nicely with your leg. Pretty soon you’ll be wearing it full time. Good work.
    Lair, have my fingers crossed that the furnace goes in tomorrow with no problems.

    Had an early appointment this morning, then went and picked up some Ditali pasta so I can make a soup tomorrow. We were home by 9am. DH is taking care of supper. Have to pick up meds this afternoon. Hope to stay home tomorrow but do have to make a Costco run before the weekend. Good thing it’s only 5 minutes or so from here.  Bbl. Jan

Good Afternoon,  Another cool day but it is November.  Wednesday is Hazel day, and a fun one it was.  She is getting to be such a character and just so much fun to be around.  We did crafts today, I took out paper plates to make turkey's.  Remember when we would trace our hand and then color the feathers, thats one thing we did, she so enjoy the craft, then we put them on the door in the kitchen.  Then she got out something she called sand, it is pink in color lots of fun to play with, we made cupcakes, towers, just little things.  Ashley said she got it at Walmart, I will be looking for some to get for the 2 GGB's.  Doesn't make a big mess and that is a plus.

Time to make some supper, see ya in the morning.

Connie, so glad you got a good report from kidney Dr. And keep on looking younger than you are. Lol.

Glad to see people are getting answers. Hubby had a dr. appt. this morning, but he has to wait for results. He's had a kidney stone in one kidney for years. Apparently he may have another one now. I asked him why he doesn't get this stuff taken care of. He might have to now.

Went to the cafe for dinner instead of breakfast. Hubby's appt. was at 9:45 and he didn't get back home until almost noon. Lots of tests done. She had chicken pot pie over biscuits. That was pretty good.

I got the majority of the 'thank you' notes in the mail today. I'm needing some addresses right now. I took what I had done down to the post office to mail them. I thought I had missed the mail, but apparently someone had to do two routes today. I had to buy two extra books of stamps as I used up everything I had. I had to put stamps on 8 that I didn't have a stamp for. I stepped aside and got those put on, and then put them in the box also. 

Don't know much else.

We had rain pretty much all day here and it looked gloomy but I am sure the trees are glad to get a good drink, they really need it! Snow good news that you are also getting some rain and I hope you get a substantial amount!

I went to my PA today as she wanted to recheck my thyroid...that is all we did was a blood draw and she will call with the results...we had time to chat for awhile...I like Emily a lot!

After the doc I stopped at HomeGoods but they still have no candy dishes...bummer. Then went to a different SVdP store and green tags were on sale so I got all the long sleeved newborns things they had with the sale color tag...I thought they were half price but this store only knocks the price down to 99 cents...so when the total got near $10, I stopped. I had told the checkout girl who I was buying for and when we got all done she stuck the other two items in my bag and said thanks for what you do. I thought that was nice of her...After all the things were donated to them and now they will be donated to the girls in the unwed mothers home that I try to help. Win win!

Leroy said "At the end, I walked out to the car, and got in". Congrats Leroy you are doing great! Keep up the good work; you will get there!

Lair, hooray, by tomorrow you should have a new furnace in and working (at least I sure hope this guy is good on his word). You have waited a long time in my eyes!

Maryinmichigan, Maybe we need a Laugh out loud button on here as well as a like button...shall we talk to Bette about that? LOL

MaryB, glad you are making headway on all the thank yous for the donations in honor of Valerie! Has to be hard but a thing that has to be done.

Carolyn, glad you are finally getting some answers and some of the fixes they do for backs nowadays are not so painful as they used to be. You are going to feel so much better once this is taken care of! You have taken that first step!

Carol, glad you and Hazel get to have those fun days....she will always remember what she and grandma did & what fun you were!

Well, I thought I just heard the rain again; I have to go peek out the window and see what's' going on.
