Gonna be a chilly one here today! Our high is not going to get out of the 40s. I'll be bundling up later on to go to Kroger for a few things. Last night was relatively quiet. I'm grateful for that. This morning has DH confused about his medications that I moved. For a very long time, the pill bottles have set in one spot in the kitchen. Since I cannot trust he is taking what he is supposed to at the right times, I moved operations to my dresser in the bedroom. I can better handle what he is taking and when from there. It also keeps me from being distracted by him when I am trying to fill his pill cups. He will inevitably ask me 20 questions while I work on his meds. I feel more secure in what is happening now and hopefully was able to relay that to him without making it sound like he is the problem. I ended up having to move the extra bottles that have been auto-refilled also so he doesn't open that bag and get into those. Staying ahead of him can be a challenge sometimes. I had planned to go get my bloodwork done this morning, but I am not happy with the amount of water I drank yesterday and don't want that reflected in my kidney function numbers. If I do better today, I will go tomorrow morning. I'll need to do it soon, though, as I made my annual appointment with the urologist yesterday. That is coming up in a few weeks. It is hard to remember what I should do for me sometimes. What a beautiful spot, Bet! Thanks for sharing it with us. Well, it is almost time for DH's 8:00 pill. It's the one we're hoping makes life easier for all of us. Prayers, please! Have a terrific Tuesday. Forgot to mention Melissa's family deer count. Very nice!

Good morning everyone. It is 27º and going to lower 40s later...accompanied by a wind making it feel colder than that.
Yesterday I took Phyllis for blood work and then she rode with me going to neighboring towns for more donations for our Christmas raffle. I have to admit I didn't do much after I got home at 4. I've learned that my ambition depletes about mid afternoon.
This morning I need to go to the bank and one of the bar/restaurant in town for donations. The gals will come for lunch and when they leave, I am taking Curt to the neighboring town for groceries. I need to stop a couple places there for donations, so I will kill 2 birds with one stone.
My plans today are hinged on me starting to feel better. For some reason I am very nauseous this morning. I'm hoping my 2nd breakfast will help that.
Wishing everyone a great day. Charlene

A quick good morning. I need to head to church soon for Bible study. As soon as I walked in the door an alert went off on my phone about a toddler the sheriff's dept is looking for near the church, which isn't far from my house. I imagine if they haven't found the child yet there will be a lot of law enforcement cars on that road.
I'll try to check back later but after Bible study I will watch the baby for a while and don't know what time I'll leave to go back to Sumter. Not sure how this will work out. They said he will need to do this for 5 or 6 weeks. Seems like a lot of training for an oil change place and the one here is supposed to open next week. It's across from Walmart so close to home.

Melissa, prayers that the pill works as it should. Also prayers for a successful doctor's appointment for you. Melissa, what a great hunt for you. Now on to the processing. Charlene, hope you are feeling better an soon. Take a deep breath and relax if that is possible for you. Leslie, hopng the toddler is found soon and it is nothing more than his/her walking off. Last week I had an amber alert - an estranged husband shot his neighbor and then kidnapped this estranged wife and her 4 children. I understand the most dangerous time for a spouse is when the other spouse is leaving. Sad, but true. Mary, I hope the wind does not blow the leaves back onto your yard. I must have been extremely tired yesterday. I took a 2hour nap in the afternoon. I never nap in the afternoon. Then at 7:45 pm I went to bed after dozing in the chair for about an hour. I slept straight through until 5 this morning. LOL!!! Pumpkin scones are ready to come out of the oven. Looking forward to having one with a cup of coffee. Marlene

Good morning, the temperature is currently 50° and is sunny, with a few clouds on the horizon.
I decided to move a bookcase from the living room to my bedroom this morning. whew. More work than I thought but now I have to put all the stuff back on it. Have to rest for a bit. Maybe this will inspire me to clean the bedroom, or not.
Well, I guess I should get back to my task. Have a good day.

They found the little girl and she's safe. She is 3. There are some nice looking apartments in that area so I assume she got out and walked away, especially since I believe the alert said she was last seen about 7:45. I got the alert a little after 9. The county emergency mobile unit was leaving the church parking lot as I got there at 10 so she wasn't missing long but it was a bit chilly. They used the parking lot as a base because it is close to where she went missing. Several men from church were directing those of us going to Bible study to the side parking lot.
I have to leave around 3 to go back to pick up DGS and his GF and baby will ride with me.
Marlene, that is sad about that shooting and kidnapping.

Good morning, its 49° mostly cloudy headed to highs in the mid-50s. Our weather conditions are expected to be blustery the next couple of days with steady rain and gusty south winds.
I am doing laundry today, stripped the bedding and will start with that.
Charlene, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Leslie, glad they found the little girl and she is safe.
Have a great day everyone.

Good evening,
Nothing new happening here. Breezy & chilly today; low to mid 60s, but sunny. Tonight is supposed to drop below 40. I'll need to keep an eye on the GH temp. Make sure the heater is working, if necessary.
I went to the library, got gas & a few things from WM.
Too windy to mow leaves. So I mopped floors instead.
I did check at Lowe's for lime but the bags must have gotten really wet in yesterday's rain. They were much too heavy for me to lift. It can wait.
Looks like I need to go back & read yesterday's VSR
Sounds like Leslie's GS got the job & Melissa had a good day hunting.
Leslie, it's great news that they found the little girl.

Dave,
I just saw your post from yesterday.
Never heard of York apples, but then I don't know a lot about apples. Is that what you have?
