It is hard to believe I had all the leaves taken care of and now once again it looks like this. Our weather is expected to be blustery the next couple of days and it looks like we still have a lot of leaves to fall.

Mary, I think my azaleas did that one year. There are some re-blooming varieties but mine aren't. I know the frustration of the leaves. I sweep the front porch and blow off the back deck more than I care to and haven't started on the yard.

Mary...how fun to have Spring blooms in the fall. I had a half dozen snowball blooms this fall which also was a surprise. You have lots of leaves to deal with. Gayle...I have never rooted that type of begonia since they are sold in 4 packs here in the Spring very reasonable. Butterfly theme...American Ladies from a few years ago. Like Gayle, I didn't chase any butterflies for pics this year.

Charlene, I root them every yr. Usually in soil, but that yr was in water. One less thing I have to buy in Spring.
This is the container I'm baby sitting this Winter. Much prettier in person.

Mary-My leaves are long done and cleaned up. Its a job! Nice bonus blooms. Charlene-Pretty. Gayle-Good luck with the plants. My walk to the stand at my brothers takes me through 2 sections of bog. The trees are super thick and its mostly black spruce in the bog. The ground is like a sponge and the sphagnum moss is thick as plush carpet. The bog is full of labrador tea plants. His trail is pretty dry this year so its fairly easy walking. Lots if humps and bumps. The moon between the trees walking out. The tunnel in the bog is very dark!

Leslie-Its a flashlight required walk. Often the moonlight is enough to see by when walking in or out. This is such a tunnel of trees and the ground so humpy that I don’t think I’d make it otherwise!

Gayle....I think all of those plants look very healthy!
Melissa....I know the sponginess your referring to. Oh my...very dark early in the morning! Larry would say, "darker than the inside of a cow." I had never heard that saying until he said it. YOur houseplants look very happy and healthy too. Love the little pitchers.
Well...so much for posting a pic. Post image must be on lunch break like I am....lol

Gayle, pretty kitchen window and what a lovely container of plants. Charlene, lovely butterflies. Melissa, that is some walk to the stand don’t think I would care to walk it at night. Your plants are looking great. My backyard is in the shade but I did get a few photos. This squirrel calls the backyard home, missed getting a picture of it sitting in the planter with the yellow roses. I missed getting photos of the Jays and the Oregon Juncos but did get a couple of some hummingbirds. The hummers didn’t want to pose as they were busy chasing other hummers away from the feeders.
