Good morning. Another pretty fall day. Yesterday was so nice outside actually had a t-shirt on and no coat. It cooled right down around 4 though.
I did work inside and some outside yesterday. Nothing to exciting. I have caught 6 cats the kittens are old enough they look to be 8 weeks old. I have the mother cat to drop off this morning. I'm dropping 3 off together so maybe they can find themselves and live together. There are probably 6 more adults. I saw to big Siamese they look well fed and I haven't seen them before. When my neighbor gets home I'm going to go talk to him and tell him to stop feeding the cats. This is getting out of hand.
I was going to start the weekend picture thread yesterday but I couldn't get back on this site . Not sure what was going on with this site.
Have a good week and a peaceful Sunday.

Good morning all! 70° and partly cloudy. I got everything planted yesterday. I'll just have to keep an eye on watering, it's been real dry here.
Bet, that pic is beautiful!
Normal Sunday activities today. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

We're working on floating our way out of drought conditions here. It's been pouring rain for hours and is predicted to keep doing so until around 11:00. Showers are possible the rest of the day. They just won't be as heavy. I'm definitely glad I went to church last night. It was a bit weird coming out to it being almost dark, but that was better than going in looking like a drowned rat. I guess when the rain stops, the wind will pick up. Great! I need to hit Kroger sometime today. Pick my poison, I guess. Rain or wind? I am realizing, as I try to find ways to use up the milk we got from the AOA, just how little milk we apparently were drinking previously. Maybe it isn't all that dire since we had a little over half a gallon when we got our first delivery, but I am just now using up the last pint of that first delivery. I still have the 10 new pints to use up. I'm afraid to take them out of the bag and see the sell by date on those, but I will have to. My cousin has requested an evening chat time today, so I may go back to bed for a while this morning. It is gloomy outside and DH has had his meds until lunchtime. No real reason to be upright for a while yet. I think he is watching a movie. I hope it is a good one that keeps him happy for a couple of hours. Amazing pic, Bet! Wishing you the same for your day. Sandy, isn't the weather we've been having wonderful? It's kind of hard to remember it is November. Yay, Wendy, on getting everything planted. I hope you get some rain to help with the watering. Gee, I hope you find some fun things to do tonight, Leslie. It will probably feel strange to not be going to church. Your food sounds yummy. Well, I think I am going to go take a peek at what DH is doing. If he is in his chair, I think I am going back to bed. Have a superb Sunday!

Good Morning, It is foggy out this morning. The only plans for the day are church this morning and this afternoon to light the fireplace and curl up and read. Yesterday's birthday party was nice. I was planning to stay 15 minutes or so but ended up staying an hour. Sandy, you certainly are having a problem with the cats. I think you need to talk to your neighbor ASAP about feeding the cats. Leslie, I made a pan of lemon bars this week. I love almost anything lemon. Karen, sure wish there was some way you could send the rain here. I believe Charlene has been getting rain, but not a drop here. Waving to all who follow. Marlene

Charlene, sorry for no internet yesterday. Sometimes I wish mine would go down so I would spend less time on the computer but that doesn't work either as if I put my phone in just the right place I can pick up the verizon tower and us my phone to connect my computer to the internet.
Sandy, it was sunny here but not t shirt weather. Maybe 50 but the wind was terrible. Glad you are making some progress on the cats. We have a problem here sometimes with not only cats but also dogs. Folks come here for the summer and think it would be great for their kids to have a summer pet and when they return home they just drop them off along the road.
Karen, glad to got to church last night. Hope you can have a peaceful Sunday and get some rest.
Leslie, what a mess with the rain you have had. Glad you are safe but looks like a lot of reconstruction before things are back to normal.
Wendy, enjoy your Sunday routine as I know you do. Keep those new plants watered.
I have done well so far this morning. The rolls are baked and cooling before they get wrapped and in the freezer. There are 2 turkey breasts in the oven roasting and will be done in about 45 minutes. The kitchen is cleaned up for the moment. I want to get all the celery and onions cut and cooked for the dressing. They will keep just fine in the refrigerator. Then it is back to the basement to hopefully finish up the freezers. First however I need to check the sale ads for the week.

Good morning everyone. It's 45º and raining. We had rain most of yesterday afternoon and all night. I'm not sure when it's supposed to stop. I hope Marlene's area is getting some of this rain.
My day yesterday flew by. I spent a couple hours getting a photo album to take to DGS's 30th birthday party. Many enjoyed looking at it. The party was good and lots of DGS's friends plus family there.
This morning I have to go to Phyllis's for a couple of hours. I hate working on Sunday's but her DD is gone, so I can do it....after all...$50 bucks is $50 bucks. Right now I have a load of clothes washing.
Sandy...You know I tried a couple times yesterday afternoon to start the picture thread and when I got the "this site can't be reached", I assumed I didn't have internet. Perhaps it was problems here. I did get here once and post on the wax amaryllis thread and then it was gone.
Happy Sunday to all. Charlene

Karen...what an honor to be in your blessing book....thank you. I drink 1 gallon of milk per week and I don't eat cereal, so it's all with meals. phone

Good morning, it is currently 45° and cloudy. They are calling for some light rain this afternoon. We really need rain.
Tomorrow, I have an appointment with my insurance guy. I understand that my current Medicare insurance is changing for the worse so need to find a new one. I just thank my lucky stars that I have him to investigate because I find it all confusing.
Have a good day.

Good morning, its 47° cloudy headed to highs around 56°. We starting out dry, but expect heavy shower this afternoon.
Yesterday, my nephew came over and removed the old cabinet over the refrigerator. So, thankfully now my new fridge is where it belongs.
Last night for supper I made oven-baked apple balsamic chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots. I only needed ¾ cup of diced apple so I baked the rest of the apple for dessert.
We are going to church this morning then will see what the day brings.
Bet, I love your predawn photo.
Have a great day everyone.
