Good Morning, Looks to be another beautiful day, a little cooler then yesterday but still not what you would call cold. Its 37 going to about 55. I really don't have any plans today, if the DD's are home we might go visit both of them, then maybe hit the vegetable stand for some squash, I want more then the A-corn. When we get home I might do a few little things. I over did yesterday, I dug up 2 big clumps of native grass, its a lot smaller then the pampas grass, but its still hard to dig up and get the roots. I replanted them in a few bare spots out by the road. I put away a few things that had a home, cut down more old plants and so many wild rose thors. Not sure where they came from but was hiding in the cone flowrs. The cat is on my lap, so I will be back in a few

The cat is still on my lap, so will be a few mistakes I'm sure.
Jan, I have fainted a lot, but never from lack of sleep. When I get the stomach bug I usually always faint, the Dr. has told me to drink more water, but who wants to do that when you are sick to the stomach. Good news haven't had that bug in a long time. Glad your supper turned out good.
Lair, Busy day for sure. Furance man did he show up?
Carolyn, I like orange but are so acidity, don't eat them very often.
Leroy, I too am tired of Damien Clark, only about 30 more days of him. About how long did you stand, but without the counter, please be careful. Baby Steps.
M/M, Guess we all do that, get side tracked, feels so good to toss things, I do alot but have to hide the fact from Ray. I use my grabber a lot, mostly for cleaning up wet spills. You be good and safe.
Mary, I would only order the cinnamon roll, love them. No sausage for me either. Great finished projects.
I best do something even if its wrong, have a great day.

Good morning. 48, going to 56, with cloudy sky. Had a little rain during the night. Didn't sound like much.
PT went well yesterday. We put my leg on before we went, so he didn't do any stretching exercises this time. zi walked over to one of their machines, and used that for a bit. Then he had me do an exercise where I got up from the chair, walked about 12 feet, turned around, and walked back to the chair, turned around, and sat down. Rested for 60 seconds, then did it again five more times. A 10 pound leg gets pretty heavy by that time. I left it on to go home, but getting out of the car, I got stuck, and couldn't get up to sit in the wheelchair. Adam got Brian, the neighbor, to come help. He got me into the wheelchair, and things were fine after that. I think part of the problem was that I got both legs out of the car, and then had no room for them to move. I have to practice that more. I can get in easily enough.
Nebraska has another bye week, so will watch some of the other games today. Maybe some tennis, too.
Carol, I do use the walker when I stand with the leg. Otherwise, I would probably fall over.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning! Have had breakfast and changed the bed. Made a great Sausage and Barley Soup yesterday and since soups are always better the second day, Keith will be very happy to have it again today.
What kind of squash are you thinking about, Carol…growing up in NY, never had yellow crookneck squash so when I married a Texan, had to learn to cook the yellow squash…his cousin gave me her favorite recipe for a Yellow Squash Casserole and I do like that one. Beginning to wonder if we are ever going to know the results of this election…unreal that some states don’t have their Senate or House results in yet. And they are still asking for money? Unreal…think we need to go back to pen and paper ballots! Think I will just leave the TV turned off today and read my book. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Good morning! I am on a roll!
I accomplished so much in the kitchen yesterday.worked there all day long. Today I am tackling the bathroom cupboards and tossing left and right.Feels so good. It is a mess in there right now but will soon be better. Then I will straighten up the linen cupboard in there. My one and only bathroom is not big. There is a shower in the laundry room down stairs. None upstairs as the tub is under the window. Actually there is a shower head but it is disconnected.
It is such a pretty day. I am up earlier since the time change and I like that.
Where oh where is Grammy? I miss her being here.I hope nothing bad has happened.
I need to get back to my task so maybe more later. Maybe not.
Everyone, take care, keep smilin'.

Good Morning. Here it is overcast and sprinkling. It is 44 degrees and will rain all day today and tomorrow. House is not too cool but it would be nice if it were warmer. Went to bed last night early since I had been up since 4;15 am. I went right to sleep but woke up at 12;30. My front was hot and my back was cold so I took a anti anxiety pill. That worked good and I slept until almost 9 this morning. I fed the cats and myself so now I have to plan my day. I think I will work on my grocery list and trim back some house plants. It is too cool and damp in the Greenhouse today so will work in the house. Some are looking like they need more sun so I may move a couple around and see if I can find a better place for them. No signs of a furnace yet. They said they have things arranged except now just find 2 workmen that don't have a busy schedule to do the install. Sounds like they are having trouble keeping good help like every other company around here. The office manager did say it will be next week. I sure winter stays away until I get something besides a space heater. Guess I will get moving. I hope you all have a good day and enjoy your weekend.

Good Morning All. Every year I watch the East Idaho News doing their Secret Santa Giveaways. The news people do the actual presenting, but a generous Secret Santa has supplied them with $1 Million to give out. They find out about all of the recipients before hand from people in the community nominating them for being in dire need of help. They started early because they have so much to give away. They've already given some cars to people, gas cards, grocery store cards, paid rent, etc. Every year they inspire me to be a Secret Santa also. This morning, I bought a lady's breakfast, and tipped her waitress extra also. She was sitting in the booth right behind hubby. When the girl was taking her order, she asked what the special was, and then asked the price. Nothing foodwise is expensive at Sandy's. The special was only $5.29, 2 eggs, toast, choice of meat, and her coffee was $1. When I heard her asking the price, my mind immediately went to, "This is someone elderly that is struggling and pinching pennies." I gave Sandy $10 and told her I was paying for the lady's breakfast and the rest went to the high school waitress. I told her to tell her, "A Secret Santa bought her breakfast." I've done this many times in the past, so they know the drill. LOL Since Valerie's passing, we've been so blessed by people paying for our meals.
We received a lot of cash and checks from many relatives and friends on behalf of Valerie. Some requested that we pass their donation on to Tori's Angels. So as a family, we chose to pass along all of the donations we received to Tori's Angels. I had emailed board member JoAnne the other day, to let her know what had happened and that these donation checks were in the mail. I also told her that there were private donations coming her way in Valerie's memory. She emailed me back that Valerie will be one of those they are honoring tonight at their yearly Tori's Angels Gala. I hope Valerie spirit checks in at this gals. We still have money from one person in specific that we will be using to do something for the reading program that Valerie was involved with (buy reading books for kids maybe?), and we also want to do something for the nurses at the Kavanagh House. They were so good to Valerie in the short time she was there.
I tried on the cocoon cardigan, and I might need to put on some more sleeve length. I have leftover yarn so I can make that happen.
Don't know much else.

Today was a pretty much a 'do nothing day'. No energy! I did finally go out and sweep the deck of leaves. I looked up at the gutters there and they are full of leaves. Will try to get DH to bring out the stepladder tomorrow and then either he or I will hand scoop them into a bucket and dump them in the big garbage can. I need to dump pots too. That maple tree in back is about 80% bald today. I would have tried to rake some of its leaves into piles to be mowed up but DH put away my big rake & I am too lazy to go drag it out again. I did not touch the Christmas stuff today but I should have.
Yesterday I scooped some leaves out of the pots that I brought in and oh my, the gnats flew & have migrated around the house and are driving me crazy. I need to get some bug spray for sure!
Lair, the furnace people don't seem to be in a big hurry to install your furnace....good thing it is not bitter cold. Has the greenhouse heat been a help?
Leroy, you keep plugging with that new leg and one day you will be proficient!
MaryinMichigan, what did you take to be so energetic? You go girl!
Good night all!
