Good morning, We have sun it has been missing for 3 days, its 45 and the high 55, just maybe no wind, that would be great. So not sure what Ray wants to do today, maybe stay home or go to a Estate sale, if we don't go today, it will be 1/2 off tomorrow. Should be warm enough I can work outside, cutting and moving some leaves. I might run the shark upstairs, the 2lower levels get it done all the time, and not so much the bedrooms. Need to figure out something for dinner, wish I could think of something new instead of the same oh same oh.
Yesterday was a good day with Hazel, we did play outside for a while, but the wind was so cold. We also danced in her bedroom and she was reading to me, just telling me what the page looked like, but a step in the right direction.
Snow, All the hard work of canning will be welcomed this winter. We need to do up some squash, we love our squash. Going to be a fun weekend for 2 weeks, so great you are able to do that. Do you heard from Sandy?
Jan, Let us know about the chicken recipe? Did you like it?
Leroy, Medicare ads are on my Western Channels, no political ads on them. Rest up.
Lair, I hope you got a nap in.
Mary, Those deer can cause so much damage. Great news on Hudson.
Linda, :)
M/M, The other day you were so tired and yesterday you were cleaning house, don't over do. You bounce back fast.
Connie, Good Morning.
I'm wondering about Carolyn, haven't seen a post from her in a couple of days.
Have a great day

Good morning everyone. Snow, have fun with the kids. Mine are all grown up now, in their early twenties. Rarely see them now, busy with their own lives. We keep in touch via text and phone. Sure do miss my home canning. Carol, 40* here at 6am, going up to 48*. Umm, didn’t make the chicken last night. All prepped yesterday and ready to make, will have to be this evening, I hope. Feel good now, but yesterday lunch time, I passed out. Didn’t hurt anything when I fell, but spent the rest of the day in bed. Couldn’t have been the prep work, that was easy. Must have been doing too much in general, without resting in between. Good thing the chicken was still frozen when I cut it up, put right back in the fridge. Boy did I ever sleep last night, all caught up. DH will make sure I don’t do anything today, other than make supper. Guess I’ll finish another book. Sometimes I think I do too much reading and nothing much else gets done. Still think I’m 20 years younger I guess. Coffee’s ready. Bbl. Jan

Gotta head out to breakfast in a minute. I finally had this picture show up last night. It went off into space apparently. Hudson did great yesterday, and his counts were back where they wanted them. He can now go up in dosage on his chemo pills. I'll come back later.

Mary, What a good looking boy. Thanks for the picture. Just made some coffee. Vacuumed the living room. Waiting on my baby visit. It is overcast. We could use some rain. Yesterday I made 2 separate chicken salads . One with sweet pickles and onions and the other with grapes, apples and pecans. So, you know what I will be eating for a few days ? Hope you are all well. 🌺

Good Morning. Sunny here today and almost 50 degrees for a high. I got up this morning early again. When I wake up and hit the bathroom I usually can go back to sleep but with the chill in the house I seem to wake up more than usual. Then I can't go back to sleep so I just get up. I got the bed made and the cats fed before 8 am. I had cereal and a banana along with my coffee. At that point I got on the phone calling heating people. I have an installer and picked out a furnace now I just have to wait for the time to install. Seems a lot of people are having furnace work done at this time of the year. The office gal said it won't take long as soon as they get started but it should be mid to late next week. I just hope our mild fall weather lasts until I get a furnace. I would hate for my pipes or me to freeze. Hospice said if it gets any colder they can put me in a rest home or hospital. I just want to stay in my home as long as I can. Keep your fingers crossed the installer has time soon. Joe was here yesterday and cleaned the house. He is getting faster every time he cleans. When he finished he sat down and talked to me for an extra hour after he turned in his time. He says he enjoys talking to me so that made me feel good. I guess with the sun out I should check and make sure the greenhouse isn't getting too much sun and cooking my plants. I'lll open the door and let the air heat up the house. That should feel good. I hope you all have a good day. Snow, I have not been able to get out there and dig the Cannas. Last spring I planted 5, 5gallon buckets of the tubers. Dale said he would dig them when he is here for Thanksgiving. Not sure how many to dig since I am not sure if I will be here in the spring to plant them.

Jan, Did you talk to anyone about your passing out? Are you prone to low blood sugar? That would be scary.
I'm back working on the cocoon cardigan. I put a whole round of single crochet all the way around the outside of the piece so I can easily match up my stitches. I just watched videos on how to join my front seams to help create the wrist hole. I'm still trying to decide how big I want the arm/wrist holes. I'm thinking 11" or maybe 12". I guess I can do one front seam, and then when I get to the wrist area I can try putting my hand through it. I paused typing and did some more sewing, and I left the wrists at 30 stitches. I can make create a cuff on that new hole I created.
Thanks for the comments on Hudson. He has 2 week until he reaches 730 days or the 2 year mark. Supposedly he has to take meds for 3 years, so that's the next goal.
Well, I gotta make supper.

Mary, little Hudson is sure a little cutie. He looks so happy. As far as fainting, hasn’t happened in a couple years, mainly they were trying to get my meds adjusted. Seeing as how all my tests and scans just came back good, I’ll wait and see a bit. Might have been a one-off, no sleep the night before. Slept well last night. MaryinM and Carolyn, you ladies are making me feel guilty. My floors need a good cleaning too. Probably not until Saturday. Need to go for groceries tomorrow. Lair, so glad you have a furnace picked out. Hopefully they can come sooner than they said. Well, DD2 finally got off to Vancouver this afternoon, will be back Saturday sometime. Thought she’d stay down until Monday but I guess she’s sick of it, third week in a row, meetings. That’s it I think. DD1 won’t get in until midnight, Saturday. She’s been on holiday. I’m making the chicken dish tonight. Early yet, not quite 4:00 here. Jan

Boy am I late getting here tonight. Snow, I think they did find my problem....not enough blood getting to my heart...probably why I am so tired all the time. I am on a generic for Imdur (like a long acting nitroglycerin to expand my arteries). To me it isn't a fix but a temporary solution...I may just decide to go ahead with the heart cath and stents. By the way nice to see you posting again. You sure did/do a lot of canning so your larder will be full this winter! That is good.
Carol, you are always busy!
Lair think positive and dig those cannas! Hope that furnace guy gets there sooner than later!
Jan, That is scary that you passed out. Does that happen often to you? I sure hope not!
MaryB I agree with everyone else...that Hudson is a cutie!
Carolyn you were busy today. Are you feeling any better?
Hello Maryinmichigan, that Dave is one swell fella and so much help to you. I even wiped up the kitchen floor and the hallway and the entryway.
I think I got quite a bit accomplished today, started out crocheting a potholder and started a second but the worst thing I did was get some ground beef out of the freezer about 1 and somehow the door did not get closed so it was standing open when DH went out to put the two pork shoulders in there. Thankfully I finally asked him to do it since my shoulders will not let me lift things over my head. He got them in the bottom, if I had thought there was enough room down there, I could have done it myself. I think everything in the freezer will be okay as no serious thawing took place...the ice cream carton that was nearly empty melted but I had a 'small milkshake' as a result! I can only imagine the loss if it stood open another 8 hours!
Taking this old lady to bed...I had plans to be there about 8 but you know how it is! Good night!
