Mamma, how nice that you’ll be seeing your DS soon. Bet you’re sure looking forward to that. Elaine, were you able to change your password, or did you find the one you were using? Write it down and keep it in a safe place. Used to have fainting spells when they were adjusting my meds. Hasn’t happened in a couple years now. Seeing that the scans etc they just did came back good, will just and see what happens. Maybe nothing to do with meds. Was up almost all night the night before, probably just overtired. Slept well last night. Emr, can you freeze cinnamon buns with the icing on? I thought the ice would get really sticky, after it thawed. Chris, so good to hear Brian’s surgery went well. Do as Birdie says, make sure he behaves while he heals. Lori, I’m sorry you’re still not up to par. Not much you can do for a cold, hopefully that’s all it is. It’s sure hanging on. Please, do not even think about the Ham Delight recipe. It is NOT important, just get well. Tasty, sorry to hear your cold is still hanging on too. Sure a lot of it going around now. Hope you're on the mend. Feeling good right now, probably because DH has been keeping an eye on me. He’s a keeper for sure. Still plan on making the chicken dish. Seems straightforward enough, hope I don’t screw it up, ya never know with me. Jan

Jan and Bet, you can freeze cinnamon rolls with the icing and it works great. The way I know this is, the first time I tried Bet's brown & serve method I was going to do it without the icing but I forgot and put it on anyway. So I froze them with the icing and it still worked great. They come out of the oven just perfect. (Icing in this case is a thick glaze of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract.)
I have 8 pans (8" round) ready to freeze and that feels pretty darn good.
Jan, you bake the rolls for 20 minutes at 275° till they are set but not brown. Cool completely (at this point I add the icing and wait until it's set) then wrap, and freeze. To serve, bake them frozen, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes. Works like a charm!
