Good Morning, A wet warm morning, its 62, I think I will take my coffee out open the garage door and sit and drink it. Been busy going thru my email, yes Lair, 199, got rid of them, a lot of spam, like car warranty. Paid my cable bill that took a while, not sure why but its done. Also talked with the insurance office, got my bill wasn't expectioning to be that high, oh well.
So now I need to tag some things for the booth and not sure what else I will do today, guess this cloudy weather is getting to me, I need the sun for energy.
Have a great day

Good morning. 44, going to 50, starting with cloudy sky, but sunshine coming this afternoon. Got some off and on light rain during the night.
I was awake most of the night, so I heard the sprinkles against the window. Too tired to go to PT today. Will be ready to try for a nap pretty soon. Adam is getting ready to go vote. He was going to go early, but didn't want to stand in the rain, if the line was long. Will be interesting when he gets back just how long the line was.
Can't concentrate. Have a good day, everyone.

Am glad we voted early…saw the lines on TV in Chicago and some of the other cities and they are going to be counting for a while! Lubbock had long lines for early voting but we got there at 8 AM and were the second in line. Have had 3” of rain in the past few days but sun is shining nicely now. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Leroy, Doesn't your court house allow you to come in and vote absentee in person ahead of time? We walked into our courthouse last Friday to vote. We stopped first at the table outside of the voting area to fill out our ID form, and then we got in line to vote. When we got to the counter of the voting area, we presented our filled out ID paper and our driver's license to any of the gals working behind the counter. They verified your written down info to your driver's license info and driver ID#, then they showed us how to put our completed ballots into our 2 security envelopes when we finished filling them out. We each took our ballot and security envelopes, walked to an individual curtained cubical area, filled out our ballots, stuffed them into a dark colored security envelope, and then into another white security envelope, then pulled the paper off the glue strip and sealed the envelope shut. We then handed it back over to the gal behind the counter and left.
Haven't done much in the last few days. I've dumped at least 4" of rain out of the gauge since last Friday when we left. There was just over 3" when we came home yesterday, and just under 1" this morning that I dumped. We needed it so bad. My wagon has a lot of water in it, so that's gonna get put on some of the flowers up next to the house foundation.
The peace lily that I thought was dying from overwatering and replanted it, is worse than ever. It was really wilted when we came back home. I thought maybe if I gave it a little water, 1/2 cup, maybe that would help, NOPE! I'm ready to just pitch it and call it done. I did buy myself a couple amaryllis bulbs over the weekend. One was dipped in wax, and it says you don't water it. The other is your standard white/pink bulb you plant in dirt that you add water to. It has several baby bulbs forming around the bottom of it. The wax one came from Menards, and the standard bulb came from Lowes. I left with my white holiday cactus blooming and it's still blooming. I see another plant has orange flowers developing. My hibiscus were/are still blooming (pink and red orange). They kept right on blooming while I was gone. The crown of thorns is dropping leaves and flowers, but that always happens when I bring it inside for the winter. The orange crossandra is still blooming also. I'm trying to dry down my bigger amaryllis bulbs. I watered the baby ones in hopes they grow bigger.
Jerry is going to be going to a wake for his 87 yr. old former road construction boss. He worked for Robert M. (Reilly Construction) for many years until his son, Chris, took over the business and he stepped down. Hubby always called him Robert M.; his dad was Clair, and the son was Chris.
Well, I have laundry to move around, and need to finish that cocoon shrug.

Good afternoon. it is dreary here and has been raining yesterday and today. I think tomorrow the weather will be better. I have been warm enough until this morning when I had a chill in the air. I talked to the community action group yesterday. They are working on getting me a low income loan for the elderly. I should find out be Friday how much it will cost me. I am not feeling so good today since I got my flu shot. I think I will get on another shirt and lay down for a while. Maybe that will make me better. You all have a good day.
PS. last week I didn't think I would live this long so I got a mail in ballot and voted early. Glad I did so I don't have to go out in the rain and cold.

Hi to all, Lair, are you feeling better now? I hope so! Hope you get a new furnace too. It has been a gloomy day here, how about with you?
Been keeping myself busy washing my kitchen floor to keep my mind off the election. I don't think I will watch tonight either. Normally I would be glued to the TV on such a day. So much hate out there.
Molly is on her way to Scotland but yesterday she did the nicest video tour of their nice new house. The built ins are spectacular. A cabinet maker was the previous owner. Three huge walk in closets , with windows and Ryan chose one of them for his home office. It is really nice. She has a tiny balcony off the bedroom she has turned into her office. No pictures on the walls yet but settled otherwise.cpmfy and cozy.
It sure is dark and gloomy. How is it up there where you live, Carol?
Well guess I will put the kitchen back together.

Well, the day went into the dumpster for hubby. He hit a deer on his way to the wake. He said it wasn't as bad as the last time he hit one. Yeah, I was with him when that happened, and looked that deer square in the eye. He said this one got the front fender, passenger door, and right front headlight and blinker. I guess when this goes in the shop he'll HAVE TO drive my car. I'm just glad I wasn't in the passenger seat for this one. The last time we did the major hit, it took out the whole front grill and right headlight.

Good evening from damp Papillion! I woke up to rain at 4 AM and it rained for a good share of the morning. I drove thru some deep puddles on the way to the VA today! Sounds like lots of areas are getting the much needed rain!
MaryinMichigan, I am like you...I don't want to hear all their BS, speculation, maybes etc. on the election...I will wait until tomorrow when there are more concrete results & in the meantime, pray that it was honest and the counting etc was no cheating. When I went this afternoon to vote, I had to show an ID with proof of my name, address etc. That is a first in Nebraska but with the latest history of the national elections, it was warranted! I think a lot of people, with all the pre-election hype (overpriced commercials that do nothing by slam & discredit an opponent) were really sick of the election and happy to see it over with! Sounds like Mollie & her DH have a lovely new home in Lincoln!
I had an interesting day at the VA...busy off and on and I had a gentleman come in and set up his computer etc on one of the tables and get busy. He did not come in as a family member with any of the patients so I finally approached him only to discover he has dealt with mental issues for years so he was having a bad day (been awake for 30 hours so far and this is one of his things, not getting sleep). His DR had told him when he has days like this he should come to the VA facility and if things grow too bad, he is to report to the ER. I was a little concerned regarding his behavior but he came and explained his history etc and I felt pretty confident that all would be safe...that is part of my responsibility to report any untoward actions so none of our patients are in danger. He was prepared to spend the night. He was beginning to feel tired when I left so I hope his day went well. I encounter all kinds of folks. I did get one potholder nearly done before time to leave.
Lair, I am glad you reached out to your support team regarding the new furnace you need! Hope they can get you some help. I think people are having reactions to this years flu vaccine. Our middle DD got sick from hers (like she contracted the actual flu). She has never been sick from one before.
Leroy, I hope your day improved.
MaryB, Feel bad for Jerry and the deer getting in the way. Glad you were not in the car, you could have been banged up! They can really do damage to a vehicle. Sounds like Jerry was physically ok.
Carol, my email is like that everyday...I hit the delete key many times!
I have some clothes in the dryer then I can head to bed. I had a 1 1/2 hour nap today...4 AM is way to early to be awakened!
