Good Morning, A damp rainy morning, but the temps have warmed up, its 60 and the high should be about 65 with rain all day. We need the rain, but its to get windy this afternoon. Today is store day and will stop at the booth and hope we sold some things. October's check was pretty good plus the owner gave us a $100.00 tip for helping so much. What we are going to do with the money is buy a few things for the store and keep $25.00 for lunch. This will happen when we go to Sam's club. Not sure what I will do when I get home. I went to bed early last night woke up at 11pm, and thought to myself now what. I did fall back to sleep until 5, fed the cat, went back to bed for 2 hours. Yesterday was a lazy day, did some computer work for the booth, took care of some big things that came home with us. Did 2 loads of clothes, and most are taken care. Ray decided to clean the dehumidifer about 4:30, I let him do it, he always starts late. I did vacuum the kitchen where some dust came out with the humidifer. Long day and longer evening.
I will be right back.

The cat was on my lap, so it took longer to get back here.
Leroy, Changing clocks is a pain, I have about 7 but all got done. How did it go standing at the sink?
Jan, Do you get lots of fog? Glad you enjoyed going thru all the sewing and craft stuff.
Lair, Just maybe it was a good thing your furnace quit working. Three cracks isn't good at all. You also can use the oven while in the kitchen. Maybe the girls will know where to look for help. Its a little warmer this morning.
Mary, Lots of fun watching Brylie practice. I myself think peace lilies are fussy and hard to grow. No luck with them.
Connie, I too have a big clock in the kitchen, it plays music, and also I can change it to have Christmas music. Only thing is, I can't get it down and put back up, I will ask Ray to change it to Christmas on December 1. Hope you enjoyed supper and family.
Time to move, eat some breakfast and get moving.
bye for now.

Good morning, I am up and waiting on the baby to come visit. My friends came up yest. My best friend and her husband. Her first husband passed away in 2007, my husband and him were friends. She and I worked together starting in 1992. We went to a pizza place, they had never been there. It is a good place,, they make their own crust, and they have a good salad bar. So, I got out and it felt good. It is windy but not that cold this morning. Think I will have oatmeal for breakfast. Maybe with pecans. Be back later

We're on our way home. It'll be at least 4 hrs. as hubby plans to stop half way home to get oil for this new snowblower.
Stopped to get breakfast for the road. We didn't need gas. Jerry got gas for $2.59 on Saturday.
It's drizzling as we drive so not fun.
I'll check back later.
Update: It's 1:15 and we are home and everything hauled back in the house.
Carol, We didn't go to the practice. Bryan had to come back home because Brylie forgot her socks.

Good Morning. It is foggy here this morning and we got over a half inch of rain overnight. Right now it is 64 degrees going to a high of 65 degrees. House is very comfortable overnight and this morning. The furnace company brought over 3 electric heaters and Charlene brought one so I am set. It should not be too bad because the next 7 days are all in the 50's for days and the 30's at night. I am not sure how long it takes to get a furnace. I wish someone would call me back because I called several places yesterday and left massages but now at 10: no one has called me back. You would think they would want to sell a furnace but maybe this would be a busy time. I will just wait by the phone with paper handy for notes. You all have a good day.

Good morning. 57, going to 59, with maybe some rain earl afternoon, and again tonight. Got some off and on yesterday and evening.
Well, it didn't work out for the leg yesterday. I have the liner on already, and told Adam about 3 pm to put the leg on. That way, we each have time for a nap! Watched football and tennis, went to bed at about 8:15, awake at 11:30, back to bed about 2:30, and up at 7 am.
The Chiefs play tonight, so I will probably watch part of the game. Other than that, not much else.
Have a good day, everyone.
Leroy

Good afternoon everyone. I’ve been trying to get here since this morning. In and out of the house 3 times today, and another appointment tomorrow morning. So, just wanted to say Hi to everyone, just don’t think I’ve forgotten you! Probably won’t be here until tomorrow afternoon. Jan

Good evening. Like Leroy, we got some rain overnight but I forgot to look at the rain gauge to see how much we got. It started about 10 as I was going to sleep.
The rum cake was a success as most everyone ate some. I made an extra double batch of the sauce!
Today was cookie day and I did not get started until after 10. I made Oatmeal Scotchies and Oatmeal with choc chips but also added raisins. The first oatmeal choc were good but the second batch was baked exactly the same and were way more brown and burnt on the bottom. Those over cooked ones stay at home....we can scrape the bottoms. The rest will go to the VA tomorrow. The reason I made 2 batches is because I want to give part of the oatmeal scotchies to Eric as he bought me the chips to use. His wife and he are so nice to donate chips occasionally & I know where they have to buy them in a small town, they pay way more. I thought I would croak before I got done and had to rest in between trays. I barely got dressed and gone in time for my Doctors lab visit....they were late getting me in but it did not take too long...this is in preparation for my visit to the kidney doc next Monday. Since I was north of Dodge street, I went to the thrift store that used to be close to us. Got a baby blanket, book, 2 red candles & a couple silverware trays. The book and the two candles are all that was for me...the other things will be donated.
Lair, I sure hope they have a furnace in stock whoever calls and you decide to use them...be bad if they have to order it as it will surely get colder then....Murphy's law or some such thing!
It is after 8 and I am heading to bed as 5 AM will come knocking too soon! Have a good night!
