Good evening. Just a quick stop to read what everyone has been up to today. Sounds like a busy day for most. We did turn sunny this afternoon and the temperature made it to 49° but I imagine the sun was hitting it when it registered that high. I am pushing 12 1/2 hours right not and not sure how much further I will make it. Have be busy all day outside and with the cool wind it make you real sleepy when you come inside. Spent a couple or hours this morning straightening up the house. Loaded the dishwasher after I finishe making the butterscotch, graham cracker cheesecake bars. That is emptied and put away. Got a lot of things put away today so making progress. Made a quick trip to town and did a service order that had to be done by today. My neighbor is here this weekend and he came over with his bucket loader and got the sand moved off my drive way for me and I finished up most of the leaves that had to be taken care of on the driveway.
I'm just going to wish everyone a enjoyable evening and see you in the AM.

Good evening,
We've been sunny today but about 20 degrees cooler than yesterday & still dry.All of the bird baths were empty this morning.
Haven't done a whole lot today, just ran a few errands here in the Cove.Had a good time at the Maria last night & was home early.
Picked up sticks from the yard, swept leaves off the front steps & cut back some dead, dried up coneflowers while I was roaming around the yard this morning.
Charlene, congratulations on the upcoming, new GG baby.
I picked up my mail earlier & I have a letter I need to go sign for. The sender's name is Samuel Chase? No clue who that is & with all the scams these days I was leaning toward ignoring it. But my BFF pointed out that it might be paperwork having to do with my recent fall. Hmmm, maybe. So I guess I'll go get it Monday.
Nothing exciting happening. Need to go feed Doodles & raid the frig for leftovers for myself.
Karen, sounds like the visit is going well. It would be great if Mac get to do a sleepover. If you have enough YS seeds, can I bum a few off you. I haven't had much luck with them lately, but I keep trying.

Gayle, I will see what I can do about the seeds. It looks like they are still pretty much in bloom so it could be a while before they make seeds, but I will check to be sure. I think I also have some from last year or so if this doesn't work out. I should have seed for you one way or another.

Hopefully, Wendy, you end up liking your refreshed patio planters with the new annuals. What are you planting? Sorry about the lost post. I ended up eliminating the planters. When I added the patio I had them leave a space between the screened room and the patio to plant flowers. The next couple of years I used flower boxes that I had from NY and sat them there with the plan to dump the contents at year's end into the soil and plant in ground next. When I went to work after removing the planters to clean out the leaves I decided to only use the dirt and retired the sun faded planters. I planted red salvia for the hummingbirds and sunpatiens. I'll try to remember to take a pic tomorrow.
