I know I have asked this question before, but it's been quite some time. Perhaps your answers will be different now than they were then. I know I was still working when I asked it, so probably others that were and now retired.
Are you a person that must "get up and get busy immediately" in the morning or are you a "relax and wait until the spirit moves me" kind of person?
I am a combination of the 2 types. I get up and put the coffee on. While waiting I eat my 1st breakfast (banana) and usually start a load of laundry or do something while waiting. I then go upstairs and make my bed before sitting down at the computer to have my coffee.

Hmmm. I get up, turn on the coffee pot (which I've premade the night before), turn on the computer, take a english muffin or some bread product out of the freezer, get dressed and make the bed and then wander back into the kitchen to eat breakfast. After that I watch the news on tv for a while and then "get to it". Marlene

Usually I don't do too much first thing altho I find I get a lot more done if I start early. It does depend too if hubby is awake - I do try not to do something noisy that would wake him but if he's up I'm much more likely to grab a load of laundry and get that started, maybe put the breadmaker on, neither of which require me to be 'busy'.

When I'm working I get up and get moving and out the door in about 1 1/2 hrs. I don't eat breakfast just coffee. About 10am I could have breakfast. Weekends I drink coffee and go on the internet then get moving.

Relax with my coffee then get moving. Usually once I start moving I find it hard to stop!

Hello,
I am that “hit the ground running” person. We get up at 6:00 every morning, enjoy several cups of coffee while watching the news. It’s usually a productive day, which usually involves our hospital volunteer jobs and getting tasks done at home.
By the way, DST goes off Sunday the 3rd. So don’t forget to set yr clocks back when you retire on Saturday eve.

Coffee, read my Bible, then play daily puzzles. Wordle, Wordscapes, and Cryptogram. Before I had that tooth issue I ate cereal every morning. It's not that they bother me, I just got out of the habit when they did bother me.

I USED TO BE a hit the floor running but have slowed down (maybe too much). I wait for it to move me before I stare unless I have something on the agenda to make me start cleaning early. On the days I go to the VA as a volunteer, I am up early and out the door by 6:10...I am tired in the afternoon on those two days>

I'm not an early riser so probably get a later start than most of you. But when I'm up, I'm moving.

I am not what you call a morning person. When I worked, I got up and went in early every morning as I didn’t like mornings, I thought I might as well get up and get it over with. I had forgotten about this post and this morning I asked my sister if she thought I was a morning person and she is still laughing so guess that’s my answer.
