Good Morning, Its another beautiful day in Michigan, its 67 going to about 75, I hope without wind. Yesterday all old records were broke by the temps. I had windows open during the night. Have to keep them closed during the day or those nasty asian bettles get in. Today is Hazel day, when getting home I will help Ray stack some wood, that he kept to make birdhouse, chairs, etc. I knew he wouldn't use it all. Have to come up with something for supper. Yesterday was a busy day, started out getting gas, then it was the CU, booth, hair cut, store and get some lunch. Lots of stops. After getting things put away and eat, I went out and helped Ray. Noting I could do so I did afew small things in the house, went out and enjoyed the day, but had to be out of the wind.
Lair, Stay positive.
Didn't re read yesterday post, so its all Good Morning.

Good morning everyone. Carol, boy, are you warm compared to us. 38*, going up to 50*, rain forecast for the afternoon. You sure got a lot done yesterday. Have fun with Hazel today. I got most of my Christmas shopping done yesterday .lol. Left the house, shopped, and was back home in 45 minutes. The mall was empty, will be packed after Halloween, when everyone starts thinking of Christmas. I couldn’t handle the crowds. Went in one store, told girl what I was looking for and she directed me to Marshalls (sp). Got both DGDs, went to Body Shop, got DD2s. Then home. DD1 wants me to make her granola for her gift. I give them money too. Really no need for the gifts, just like to see them unwrap something. The two men in the family get BBQ sauce that we picked up at Davisons Last time we were in Vernon. Won’t wrap until closer to the day, put me in the Christmas spirit, maybe. So, today, not doing much. Might make muffins later, if the bananas are ripe enough. Everything else is ready to go, just have to mash the bananas and put all together. DH wants perogies for supper so that’s what we’ll have. Bbl to read. Jan

I am having breakfast. Turnip greens, sausage n toast n coffee. Greens for the gut hopefully. Sun is shining bright. Later on I am going to cook some cabbage Have some leftover chicken. It is beautiful out. I had plans to ride with the kids to get out of The house. But, my back wouldn't let me do it. DGS and DGGS came to see me before they left. :)) I changed my internet speed and am saving 32.00 per month. I only use it for tv and phone. Jan, that is good about your Christmas gifts already being bought. I get stuff for the kids here but don't shop for the SCarolina kids. The DGK are grown and the DGGK are all teenagers except 2. They are interested in big stuff like cars and computers. Missed you yest, Carol. You all have a good day. Hope all are staying healthy. 🦋🦋

Good morning. 53, going to 56, with pretty good chance of some rain this morning into afternoon. Hope so.
PT went pretty good yesterday. I was pretty tired when we got home. Adam picked up Subway for supper. He wasn't too impressed with it, so we probably won't be getting that again. I though it was okay, but I will be fine if we don't get it again. There are plenty of other places on the days he doesn't feel like cooking.
I will probably watch some tennis today, along with YouTube videos. I like the lawn care ones, and do watch a number of different ones. There are also several of day-to-day activities that I watch -mostly homesteading ones. They are quite interesting and different from each other.
Carol, have a fun day with Hazel.
Carolyn, sorry you didn't get to go with your family.
Jan, Halloween, and you are done Christmas shopping!
Have a good day, everyone.
Leroy

Good Morning. I am feeling better today and spirits seem to be better too. I did get off my butt last night and got several little chores finished. Amanda, my house care lady was here and got the trash out and the recycling too. I had them all boxed and bagged so she just pushed them to the curb. Joe came just as she was leaving so he is here cleaning now. I'm in my office trying to stay out of his way. I think this afternoon may include a nap. I woke up 3 times in the night being short on oxygen. Took me a while to get back to normal breathing but went right to sleep then. I guess is should start working on my grocery list. I have to go online to the grocery store and fill in what I want and give them a credit card number. Then I set up a time with the store and hospice. The Hospice girls bring them to the house and help put them away. I will have to see how long it takes to fill out the list at the grocery store. Well, I should give my eyes a rest so I will be back later. Have a good day,

I got home from the funeral about a half hour ago. As I sit here I am suddenly so tired, I think I might need a nap. Got to spend time with all the cousins again. It was just 18 and 16 days since we did the last 2 funerals. I saw that Becky was buried to the right of my dad. I asked about her health, and apparently she had Parkinson's disease since 2013. That's also when she retired from teaching.
Off to nap for a minute. It must have been that chicken I had for dinner.

Good afternoon. Carolyn, sorry you didn’t feel like going out for a drive today, hope you feel better soon. Leroy, glad PT went well yesterday. Yup, the shopping worked out well yesterday, never happened like that before. No children here anymore, both DGDs are in their early twenties. Like to have something for them to unwrap, although they do get other gifts. They so appreciate of everything they do receive, it’s fun to watch them. Might be the last year though, just give them cards with a little something inside. Lair, glad you’re feeling a little better, hope it continues on like that. Sounds like a busy day for you, what with so many people coming and going. Mary, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had so many funerals to attend lately. I hope there’s no more for you for awhile, give you time to catch your breath. Hope you were able to take that nap. Bye for now. Jan

A quick stop by to say hello and announce we did get some rain...our gauges showed over 1 inch but there may have been some in each from a sprinkler. Started out in the low 60's this morning but was 51 when I left the VA at noon. We had most of the surgeries in our building so it was a busy day!
Wishing all a good night!

Well, I definitely had a nap and then some. I woke up at 5:20. Thankfully I had leftovers in the frig to reheat for supper.
I did see another bald eagle today. It was sitting along the side of the road. I hit the breaks to slow down because I didn't want it flying up in front of me. It was feasting on a deer. There were two others off in a tree in the field. I don't know if that counts or not, but I did see one again today.
We just got done talking to Bryan. I guess we're gonna be going down to his place on Friday. I better be getting busy and get that crochet project done.
I got a church update with some good news. Our former retired priest from many years back, that had the car accident 20 days ago, is now back here in town at the nursing home. He's gonna be doing physical therapy here until he's up and going again. He's somewhere in the late 75+ age bracket, so healing from a broken pelvis isn't gonna be fast or easy. Fr. Joe was the priest that was supposed to do Valerie's funeral after Fr. John passed. He's retired but just celebrated his 50th anniversary as a priest this past summer. Still no word on a permanent priest for our church. I overheard the priest at the funeral dinner telling my niece that numerous different priests from the surrounding areas have been lined up to take on specific tasks.
Well, a crochet hook is calling me.
