Going to bed early tonight so posting early.
Some pictures from the Halloween Party Friday night.
Everybody loved this one. It was about 10' tall.
My brother on the right, the headless person in the center is actually the GF of the 10 footer above & I never found out who Dracula was.

Gayle, nice job on the hat, looks like you enjoyed the party. My nieces photos from Alabama Hills. She said it really is an amazing place and to see and she just had to share the photo of this arch. The Alabama Hills are a formation of rounded rocks and eroded hills set at the base of the jagged peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Great party pics, Gayle! Thanks for sharing them with us. Your costume came together really nicely. Really amazing pictures, Mary M., of those Alabama Hills. That must be a sight to see in person. From our video chat yesterday with the kids. Malcolm is Megatron. Winston is a Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Gayle...Looking good! Great job on the hat and I like all of the other costumes as well. Mary...Great photos of the Alabama hills...where ever they are....lol. Google search says this: The Alabama Hills are located in Inyo County, California, west of Lone Pine and between the Sierra Nevada and Inyo Mountains: Karen..Cute! That little caterpillar will be a butterfly sooner than you're ready. Keeping with the weekend theme.... A couple of my favorite orange day lilys

Gayle, good job on the hat. I bought my grandkids skeletons like that a few years ago. They were posable and they liked them a lot. The others at the party also did a great job.
Mary, that first photo looks like a heart shaped opening within part of a heart rock formation. I'm sure that angle had something to do with that. Very nice.
Karen, what a cute photo of the boys. I've read the book about the hungry caterpillar to some of my grands. Malcom is a great Megatron. The mask reminds me of when DGS was little and I was at a friend's house. His son was the same age as DGS and they had their super hero costumes on, complete with masks that covered their faces. His wife was taking a photo of the boys and told them to "smile". We got a laugh out of that. Was Malcom smiling for this photo?
Charlene, I love those daylilies.

Karen, love the pictures of Malcolm and Winston they are both adorable. Great costumes Winston makes a cute caterpillar and I would never have recognized that was Malcom. Charlene, I can see why those orange daylilies are your favorite they are beautiful. I love seeing my snowball bush in its fall colors.

Thanks, Gayle! Charlene, you aren't kidding about Winston becoming a butterfly before I know it. I can't believe Mac will be 5 in a few weeks. Gorgeous daylilies! I have to believe, Leslie, that Mac was smiling under the mask. He smiled a lot during our chat so I imagine he was then also. I asked him if he could see out of the mask and he said he could. When he moved his head a certain way, I could see the eye holes that are cleverly concealed. I sent him a book about a black cat and a craft kit so he could make a clay model black cat. He made it with his mom, but it wasn't holding up the best when DSon brought it to show us. It was missing an eye and some of the whiskers. LOL! I got this picture of him telling us the story of the black cat in the book. I'm so thankful for video chats! Fun story about that mom asking the boys to smile under their masks. I'd probably do that also. Thanks, Mary M.! I think DDIL picked the costumes well for both boys. The giveaway that it is Malcolm behind the mask would be seeing him in person and his gorgeous head of hair. He still sports a full head of curls that will probably be his signature for a while. Winston, on the other hand is the complete opposite. His hair is very thin in comparison to what his brother had at that age. Love your snowball bush and its colors. I would love to have some of those leaves. I am collecting different leaves for Mac to maybe do a craft project when he is here. I found a book on animals that can be made with leaves from my classroom library when I was teaching. Your snowball bush leaves would be so great for something like this. Very pretty to look at also!

Cute decorations, Gayle! I miss being able to change out my garden flags. I have yet to have someone put my flagpole holder down lower and in an easier place for me to hang them. I'm out of the habit, I guess. Maybe some day.

Mary...I wish my Snowball bush would get as pretty as yours in the fall. Karen...Mac must love the book you gave him! Gayle....Lovely decorations in your yard. Some pictures of 6 of my 7 great grands. Number 7 was here in an orange mermaid costume, but she was crying with ear ache so I didn't take a picture. Her Mom said she'd text me a picture if they got one. Luke and Emery...2 little Dinosaurs which is hard to tell without seeing their tails. Luke will be 5 in a couple of weeks and Emery will be 2 the end of December. She's my little red head, but you can't tell with the stocking hat on. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Leaton and Vin...Thing 1 and Thing 2 are perfect costumes for them. Leaton will be 5 the end of December (same day as Emery) and Vin will be 3 in a couple weeks. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ My 2 little Princesses that live in Wisconsin. Their Mommy sent me the picture. Ruby is 4½ and Maddyn is 2½

Gayle, those are cute decorations. Charlene, I love the pictures of your little ones they are all so cute. View from my front door of hummer on the feeder, they also like to perch on branches on the snowball bush. Hummer’s feeder was like a swing this morning at 9 AM in just seconds the wind turned the feeder with hummer on it from the right side to the left side.

Love all the costumes and all the kids are so cute! Mary you are so lucky to have those hummers year round. I tried to post earlier and it just wouldn’t work. Trying again. Dd dressed up for her college biology class for extra credit. The grand pups. Not sure what Clover (pup) was but Louie was a chicken and he was not impressed.
