Good Morning!! A white morning, its 28 and the high about 58. Then a warm up is coming, in the 70's but very windy. My wish is that the wind blows all my leaves away, I can wish. No idea what I will be doing today, have lots to do. Ray unloaded the car yesterday while I was napping so that done, now I just have to put things back together. Not in a hurry to do this, as I want it organized so it will take a while. I can do this in the morning, until time change, as it is usually dark until 9. Have to come up with something easy for dinner I'm leaning towards BarBQ, with some sort of potatoes and veg. I will be right back

I see the covering came off the 4'oclock plant, not sure why Ray covered it but its sad looking. He collected about 100 seeds, this plant did self seed. It sure was pretty this year, a nice soft yellow color. We did have a good Friday night and Saturday, we both were tired, but did it. Not sure what we sold up at the booth, I know of 2 things, not sure on any more. I enjoy the sales, as we meet so many great people and its fun to share with them. The craft show also was a winner, and again we meet new people. Glad both are done for now, KOT will have a Christmas sale in early December and we will be ready for that. Now to relax and time my time to get things done.
Linda, Sorry about your sister in law, may she rest in peace. Will be thinking of you Tuesday.
Leroy, Sorry about the card party, here in Michigan the allergies have been horrible, I for one can say that.
Mary, The "Thank you" can wait, no need to hurry, I don't think they is any one in a hurry after what you went thru. For some odd reason it seems like things happen in 3's.
M/M, Lovely picture!! My maples were very pretty this year, and now most of the leaves are on the ground, but still pretty when the sun hits them in the morning. Welcome!! Sorry about Connie, and what a hard life she had. So sad about her daughter.
Connie, The football game was a thriller? Is that spelled right? We too the soil is very hard, but its Michigan clay, rain coming (maybe) Halloween of course.
Time for some coffee, have a great Sunday

I am up. It is chilly today, at 47. Turned the heat on. I am covered up in the living room with a fuzzy throw. I fixed chicken yesterday, made slaw and warmed some beans. Have leftovers for today. Cried a few tears because I had to miss the school/town reunion. It is the one event that I look forward to. This was the 10th. year of having it. I miss going to my cousins and to Church with her and out to eat, etc. Think I will hush for now and eat some of my leftovers. MaryinMi, you know you are loved n missed by us. Lair, where are you? Hope you are doing ok too. 🦋🦋

Good morning everyone. Carol, how nice that you enjoyed the craft sale and show, and always fun to meet new people. Leroy, sorry you had to miss the cousins re-union. I hope Adam is starting to feel better. Linda, sorry you lost your SIL, it’s never easy to lose any family member. We have very few left. Thank goodness we have our memories, and most of them are good ones. I’m waiting for the latest Louise Penny book too. You know, i don’t have the one that she co-wrote with Hilary. I’ll wait to see what you have to say about it. MaryinM, just can’t beat freshly picked apples. Loved the story about Hector the car. Connie, glad your eye was as not as serious as it sounded. Had a good day yesterday. Gone 8 hours, took our time and enjoyed the views Mother Nature provides on our way to Vernon. Did stop at Davison’s, bought pears and some veggies. They close at the end of this month, don’t reopen until first of May. On to my favourite used book store, bought 4, then spent a leisurely hour in a restaurant for lunch. Wasn’t busy, they didn’t mind our lingering. Reminiscing over the last 56 years, mostly good times. Came home by way of Salmon Arm, that added another hour to our travels. An easier drive for DH, Trans Canada #1. Today, taking it easy, just doing a clothes wash.bbl. Jan

Good morning. 48, going to 71, with sunny sky.
Well, Nebraska played really well against Ohio State (#4 in ranking). They even led at one point in the 4th quarter, but couldn't quite hold on. Watched a little bit of some other games; gave up finally after 10pm, and went to bed.
Adam is feeling better today. He's like his mother with allergies. I'm not really bothered too much. Knock on wood!
Carol, glad your two events went well for you. Makes the work getting ready worthwhile. Where was the craft fair held?
Jan, I envy your travels around your countryside. And 4 more books!
Carolyn, sorry you had to miss your reunion.
Have a good day, everyone.
Leroy

Hi to everyone. It is so nice to be missed!
I baked bread yesterday. My loaves don't seem to come out pretty but they taste good with butter so guess I should be happy with that.
How disappointing, Leroy and Carolyn, to miss those gatherings that you so looked forward to. I can feel your disappointment.
Grammy as been missing so long now.I hope she is just taking a break. I miss her. I always come here to reading always have such good intentions to write but then don't and it is usually because of tiredness.
My kids in Lincoln are moving today! Yes!Molly and Ryan. Remember, he is the director of the library and Molly, well she travels for her employer and is now on her second passport. When he took the new job there in Lincoln everything was so hurry up if you all remember. Their beautiful brick Colonial here in Kalamazoo sold immediately and they had to buy a house quickly out there. Oh what a hectic time that was less than two years ago. So they bought a 20 year old house very nice.. but I would not have bought it, myself. Greek columns inthe living area. No way. So last week they found what they wanted This house is 98 years old and beautiful. They sold the house they are in for 100 thousand more than they paid. Over 500 thousand. This new one, a hundred thousand less! Movers come today, they move in tomorrow and Tuesday she flies to Edinborough, Scotland and Ryan flies there on Wed. It all makes my mind swirl. They will fly home together tho. She has business there for Flag. Foreign Lands Across the Globe. She is the director of that foreign student exchange. Sorry to fill you on all in again on all of this! Joni say They should do all this again to keep us all entertained. It has been fun because we have all been privy to each of the houses they looked at. Zillow, you know. We all like the choice they made.. Big front porch on this one. Beautiful, move in ready with hardwood floors and the previous owner is a cabinet maker so nice built ins. I should have warned you all to grab a second cup of coffee because this would be long! I have more but afraid I will lose this post so here it comes.

Good Morning. I'm back today. I have been having Vertigo since Thursday. I have never had it and didn't know anyone that has. I did find out it "Ain't no fun". I ended up getting the walker out and using that to get around the house. I tried to get on the computer but the things I tried didn't get the letters large enough to read. Today when I woke it is a lot less than before. On Friday they took me off all antibiotics. The specimen was worse than the one they gave me before the UTI first started. They are growing the infection until Tuesday and then they will decide what I should be taking. I am just taking it easy and getting lots of rest. That seems to be helping. I talked to Dale yesterday for a couple hours. He still wants to come up for Thanksgiving even if he has to cook the meal. I have not read but I am hoping Virtigo doesn't last that long or if it is more like a stroke. Guess I will see what I can find out later. You all have a good day and I will check back latr.

Oh Lair, I have been there so many times! It is horrible, isn't it? You have to grab on to anything because of the sensation of being flung off the earth! It can last days and I hope yours goes away soon. Drink water! Don't fall. Are you vomiting?

Lair, boy, if it isn’t one thing it’s another with your health. Vertigo is not fun. There is something they can give you if it’s just plan old vertigo. Doesn’t do anything for me, mine is caused by Menieure’s disease. I do take something for that and it helps me. Doesn’t work for everyone though. I sure hope they come up with an antibiotic that will cure your UTI. It’s good that you have someone monitoring your health. Yes, take it easy for the next few days, we don’t want you falling. Would be nice if Dale came to see you at thanksgiving. Such a good friend. Keyscar, I’m sorry you missed your re-union too, especially when you’ve been looking forward to it. Jan

Lair, When I get Vertigo, which is about every 6 months, I move very slow, look straight ahead, dont bend over. When Ray gets it, he is very sick to his stomach.
Take care and don't move fast.

Dizziness and vertigo are very different. OnceI became so dizzy that I grabbed on to the back of a glider rocker for stability and just like that the heavy chair and I went over.sideways. Everything was swirling so bad. I just stayed that way until I could pull the phone off the end table by the cord. I called Judy's house, she of course was at work but her husband' Jerry came right away. He sat with me while I stayed on the floor. I was fighting nausea. About an hour later I managed to crawl down the hall on my hands and knees. I vomited and you know what. It lasted a few days. My ENT Dr. Said it was inner ear related. It is horrible to have vertigo and I have had it several times since it began when I was 28. Nausea goes Hans in hand with it.

There is a thing that you can do to relieve just plain dizziness. I have Meniers Disease so that trick does not work.

I've had vertigo multiple times, but mine comes from a joint behind and below my right ear that gets out of place. I've been lucky enough the last couple of times to be able to crack my own neck and it went away. I just turned my head to the right and pushed my chin with my hand. When this joint gets out of place it messes with your inner ear and causes balance issues. My biggest mistake was going to a medical dr. the very first time. They had me take meds for motion sickness, and it took me weeks to get over it. I told my chiropractor what happened and she told me the next time it happened to come to her so I did. Yup, she cracked my neck and dizziness gone immediately. I don't think I've ever really had a problem with misplaced crystals. My chiropractor also told to do a dr's. exercise from a youtube video to try and get the crystals (rocks) back in place. Yes, everyone has rocks/crystals in their inner ear. LOL I don't know if you can do this exercise as you have to get down on the floor, so I found another video that covers 3 different exercises. The one I did was the first one, but you could probably try the other ones.
I worked on my crochet project today and got another 10" done. I still have about 15" to go.

Good evening. Went to church today and this is the last sunday we can have coffee after unless they work something out. The big remodel is in the area where we currently do coffee & rolls after service. I enjoy it with a few other gals. Came home and had a nice long chair nap---may not sleep tonight because of it. It was 42° this Moring and the heat was on so we did not freeze during first service...yippee!
Lair, Hope they get the vertigo figured out soon. I had double vision for about 3 months and that was awful. Are you comfortable cooking thanksgiving dinner for you and Dale? Nice to have a good friend to share the holiday with.
Jan, sounds like you had a nice car trip!Getting some new books is always a good thing.
Carolyn, sorry you had to miss the class reunion. We are at an age when we can lose a lot of friends in a years time.
Wish you all a good evening.
