Jan, the label says 800 mg of sodium, which is less than Stouffer's. It didn't taste too salty to me. I find that I don't like overly salty food anymore. DH on the other hand loves salty snacks the same way I love chocolate!
Got my shot this afternoon and my arm is a little sore but I got some Tylenol right away, which the pharmacist recommended, so hoping it won't be bad.
Birdy, I love your blinged-out glasses! I had a pair of bright pink ones that I love. They're an accessory and they should make you feel fantastic when you wear them.
Mamma, that must be some really good kettle corn! Yum!
Elaine, praying for your sister. I remember when my dad had radiation on his lungs.
Tammy, I didn't sleep as well as I wanted to last night so am thinking about a little lie-down myself right about now.
Helen, that is one of my very favorite soups -- and cheddar bay biscuits too? What time should we be there?
Lori, I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better today.
I need to be working on inventory and organizing receipts but it will have to wait for later. Ready for a little rest time.

I am making Panera's Copy Cat Autum Butternut Squash soup. Time consuming but the taste is marvelous!

It was a busy and productive morning in the church kitchen today. The pears are still not quite ready for eating but we used about half of them. We poached a lot of them very lightly and canned them with a not-too-sweet syrup. The rest we turned into a spicy pear chutney. We also made some lime curd, crab apple jelly, ROB jam (raspberry, orange and blueberry) and another jam we called Berrylicious! It is one we will never be able to replicate because we used all sorts of odds and ends of fruit, we had stored in our freezers.

Butternut squash make a lovely soup Chris. The first year hubby and I ran a wine bonspiel at the curling club, I came across a recipe for a squash and brie soup. (It was aimed at a 'smaller than most' crowd for a bonspiel with local wines featured in the bar and used as our prizes). We ran the spiel for almost 10 years and that soup was always the first one that we ran out of and I made a huge pot!
