Good morning! It's partly cloudy and cool this morning! My laptop and phone are working fine, but the TV signal isn't working at the moment. Not sure what that is all about. I'm missing my news!!! Dinner last night was a blast from the past. Chicken livers were delicious...we grew up eating liver so we are used to the taste. Tonight we will have a pita salad with chicken or a vegetarian cheese raviolis with wild mushroom sauce. Will go to the gym later this morning. Hopefully the TV will be back on so I can watch a few episodes of Everwood on Freevee. Enjoy your day! Waving!

Good morning all. Another beautiful fall day here. I plan on walking down to the market to pick up some veggies and salad fixins this morning and then I shall deal with the basket of pears I picked up a couple of days ago. Other than that hopefully a fairly quiet day here. Hope yours is a good one!

Good morning. Ann, I like fried chicken giblets. They are not easy to find down here and when found they are rather expensive.
Tasty, I hope you find lots of good things at the market.
Muggy but the temp isn't too bad at 75º. We took the cart again today. I didn't want to get all sweaty and have to take another shower before church. Hopefully the dew point will drop soon.
This morning when I got up, the stove was making a humming sound. It kind of scared me, it had never done that before. I was thinking I'ld have to stay home from church, but after a bit it stopped. No idea what or why it made that sound. Maybe it was angry that I used it the last couple days after doing nothing all summer. I put in a new furnace filter in on Friday and another noice, it drove me nuts. So last night I looked at it more closely and it didn't fit. It was a half inch too short in height and width. Luckily I had a different one and it fit. No more whistling noice. Yes, noises bug me.
No plans for the afternoon unless Lynda wants to do something. I should wash or at least dust the blinds, they are looking pretty dirty. But that's no fun. hehehe
Happy Sunday to all.

Good morning. I was going to try a different church and I am listening to my vikings game. I have gotten used to early services.
Ann- I can eat chicken livers but not my favorite, now give me beef or pork liver and I will devour it. I do like chicken gizzard and the heart.
TASTY-I sure miss fresh veggies. I hope you find that you are looking forward.
Mamma- I missed the cool weather this morning, I slept in. I was going to get up and make cookies but that didn't happen.
We just got back from grocery store,we bought everything for subs sandwiches tonight.

Good afternoon just sitting here catching up with everyone. I think I am making pretty good progress on dinner. Of course today was not the day to wake up with hot flashes and be light headed. I finally went and laid down and slept for about an hour. Not sure what that was all about as I slept good last night.
The vegetables are completely done and 3 more meatloaves are in the refrigerator. I like the to set for an hour or so before I bake them so the flavoring goings into the meat. Then they all have to be stuffed with mozzarella and baked. I sliced the one I made yesterday. It sliced just great and I got 8 3/4" slices plus the ends so the 4 loaves will do just fine. I have to go to town and get the drinks in the refrigerator and pickup the chafing dishes. Then a quick stop at the store as I decided to make a cheesy garlic butter for the bread and don't have one cheese. It is on sale with a coupon so that is good.
I was excited to see the whole pork loins were on sale for $1.99 in 2 stores this week. That is what I had been waiting for. However, checked on other store and the Turkey breasts that I bought for $1.99 a pound a couple of weeks ago is on sale for $.99 a pound.
I better get to town and back then start peeling potatoes. I will be until midnight. No idea what I am eating for dinner.
Enjoy your evening.

It's been a windy day but sunny and very pleasant temps. We got Mexican for lunch after church. DH had a spicy steak dish just to try something different -- he said it was definitely spicy but he enjoyed it. I had arroz con pollo -- comfort food.
This afternoon I've been getting things together for our financial meeting on Tuesday and also thawed and then browned ground beef that was in the freezer. So I feel like I've accomplished something. Instead of soup, I'm going to make hamburger casserole for tomorrow's dinner. I'll mix it up tomorrow morning and then it can go right into the oven when I get home.
That's about it, really. I have football on (New Orleans @ Dallas) but I think I'm about ready to turn off the TV and read for a while.

Good afternoon everyone. Was waiting for more to come on here, guess everyone is enjoying a nice Sunday afternoon. Ann, sounds like you’re really settling in now, with the sale of your previous home done. Is the gym in your apartment complex? Tasty,a beautiful fall day here too. Good to hear you had a good day at the market yesterday. You folks work so hard, you deserve it. Mamma, that was weird that you heard strange sounds from your stove, then it stopped. Has it happened again since? Elaine, sub sandwiches sound so good. Do you make yours from scratch? Bet, you work so hard on those dinners. Seems to me that you just finish one dinner, and you’ve started on the next. Shows how much you like cooking. I used to cook a lot too, but am finding it much harder as I age. Emr, I’ve been thinking about hamburger casserole lately. DH has mentioned it a couple of times. Comfort food. Have country-style ribs in the crock pot for supper. TOH recipe, called Tasty Pork Ribs or Cajun Ribs, too many ingredients for me to type. Tomorrow we’ll probably have waffles, been a while. Bbl to see who comes on. Hope all is well with everyone. Jan just checked TOH and can’t find that recipe anywhere, not under those names.
