Good morning! It's just a bit warmer this morning, and it looks like it will be another banner day. We were 'wicked' busy yesterday! Bill dropped me off at the senior center and proceeded to Lawrence/Methuen but only got one errand (bank sans rolled coins) done due to the clog of school busses in both Salem and Methuen. So he picked me up and backtracked to visit CVS, Aldi, hairdresser, lawyer, Target and the Dollar store then headed home. We ordered pork tenderloin dinners and I made a salad. Today we will visit the gym and try and get to the bank to get all of those coins deposited. Not sure what else we will get into. Have a good day! Waving!

Good morning friends.
Ann- That was a busy day yesterday for you. Looks like it will be another good day here too.
I forgot to go get my quilt yesterday at the museum so need to go do that first thing this morning. Will be there at 9am to get it. So have to leave here at 8am.
Tammy- thank you for letting us know about Lori. Saying prayers for her.
Wow! Just looked out the window. When I came down 20 minutes ago no fog now barely see across the street. It just rolled in fast.

I see on FB that it's our Marlene's birthday today, but on FB there has been no activity since April 28th!! Chris sent a GIF birthday greeting just a little while ago.

Good morning! I am loving this nice weather although we could still use some rain. I hope it holds off until next week, though, as the university where DH teaches is playing their first-ever football game on Saturday. They've had t-shirts for years that say "Anderson Football: Undefeated since 1911" but I don't know if they will still be true after Saturday! LOL
Ann, the bank branches I've worked at have always had a lot of business customers, which means we give out lots of change and rolled coin is always welcome! Hope that is the case at yours too.
Chris, take care in that fog. Maybe it will burn off as quickly as it rolled in.
Saying a prayer for Lori this morning.

Good morning. Record high heat for today and it will be high.....116º is predicted. It's muggy and 84º right now. Mandy was pokey and more interested in noises than business. But after being cooped up all summer I'm trying to be tolerant of her curiosity. She loves being outside. Mandy is the first dog we have ever had that would rather be outside than inside.
Sheets are finishing in the washer. I was going to wash them tomorrow but forgot and put them in the washer. I don't or didn't want any appliance running today that is unnecessary. I want to do my part on less stress on the power grid. It could have issues when it's this hot. So far we this summer we have been lucky.
Prayers for Lori many times since before and learning why she has been MIA. She is always here so I knew something was wrong.
Trying really hard to think of a healthy meal for supper tonight.

Good morning everyone. Tammy, thanks for reporting back to us about Lori. Here’s hoping the procedure goes well and she’s back with us soon. Lori, if you’re reading this, get well and hope to see you soon. Ann, tenderloin, my favourite cut of pork. Yum. We got rid of all our coins when we moved here, I thought. Found a bank in DH’s bedroom just yesterday that he’s been depositing his loose change in, it’s full and heavy. We’ve decided to leave it. A surprise for the girls when they have to clean this place out. Chris, no fog here, just smoke, down below us, in the valley. Can’t see very far out the windows, looking down. Sunny here above it. Trouble is, we have to drive down into it to go anywhere and today is grocery shopping. This will go on into October. Emr, we could use some rain here too. It’s 60* here at 8:00, going up to 95* later. Mamma, we haven’t figured out anything yet for supper, but there’s leftovers so that’s what we’ll probably have. Don’t like to waste any food. Not much going on here today. The weekly sales start today, so we’ll go out and get what we can use. That’ll take care of the morning. Bbl. Jan

Good morning. I walked Dori but only around the block, the air is so thick. Then I went up for coffee hour, I stayed about 1/2 hour. We are getting Pixie soon as her owner is going to Palm Springs to pick up Doris mom. Johnny ,CiCis dad called and he is leaving town today so he wants me to take CiCi to dog park twice a day and throw the ball. Johnny lives with his mom and Step dad helping them out( sure he is) so this will help them as they can't take her. Lillian has a walker and Don has a scooter. Johnny has no idea when he's coming back.
Ann- those pictures are cute.Banks around here won't take coins unless you give them a percentage.
Chris- I'm sure you have your quilt by now. As I see its 10 here so must be 1 there.
Elza- do you charge a percentage at your bank to take in coins?
Mamma- I decided to have a new recipe again that I found on Facebook but now I can't find the video. It was a French dip using prepared frozen garlic toast.
Helen- its sad about all the fires and the smoke.

Mamma- thank you that's it. I've been looking all morning and you found it. Dh didn't think the garlic toast was made 1st. I told him yes and then they put the cheese on. He's been looking on Google and I've been on Facebook.

Elaine, we don't charge anything to take rolled coin, but we only take it if you have an account. We give out the wrappers free as well.
It's going to be CORN dinner here tonight so I'm looking forward to clearing off the shelves in the refrigerator.

Hi ! It is probably late for some of you. It is now 7:45 here. Not much of anything going on today. I worked, napped, then made supper. I was going to do a pork chop casserole but used all the potatoes last night. So, I browned the chops then popped them in the oven to finish/ We also had corn on the cob, and leftover pasta salad. DH put the bones and the dogs outside to let them chew awhile. they came in all wet because it's raining. He did place the bones under the rv awning, but the dogs got pretty wet so smelled not so good. they both got a bath tonight!
We have Bible study here tomorrow night. I may not make it here. I will have to vacuum and sweep the kitchen, make some French Dip Sliders. New recipe so will let you know how it is.
Sleep well!
