Good evening. I sure hope winter is over for us. It has not helped my mood at all. The last power outage was 12 hours making a total of about 13 1/2 Thursday. This time it did a job on my computer systems. Nothing is working right and I have spent most of my time since yesterday morning trying to get things back to normal. I did work today. Had a 4 1/2 hour job that I wanted to get done as I have 10 more that are that long or longer this month plus my normal weekly work. I may work again tomorrow. I still haven't shoveled the sidewalk. Even with the melt it is over 2' of hard backed snow.
Wishing everyone an enjoyable evening. I need an attitude adjustment before I feel like chatting.

Thank Sandy, Bet, and Gayle. My best friend’s son is starting a veggie garden….that has become a huge endeavor.... no fencing and a lot of deer so will send this to her to share with him.

Bet, sorry you are having so much snow, power outages and computer problems. Hope at least your work in the next week goes ok.

Linda,
Bet has the recipe right It works really good but I'd probably make sure to wash the vegs after picking them. I don't grow veggies so can't say how well it will work on a large veg garden. Good luck
Thanks for the info on the eclipse. It's what I figured but everybody has been making such a fuss about not looking at the sun I figured I'd check. I've even seen warnings about closing your blinds/curtains to protect your pets.
Leslie, I don't even remember one in 2017. Shows you how interested I am.
Bet, sorry to hear about all the snow & power loss. Must be very frustrating. I'm not working next week at all so that's 2 wks for me. I could get a lot done if Mother Nature would cooperate.
Karen, Ive been where you are but I didn't have to deal with dementia along with it. And even though I was younger & stronger at the time I still couldn't pick up 225lb of dead weight. So I had the rescue squad at my home a lot. We didn't have a walker & nobody ever suggested one ,so really I never even thought of that. I don't think it would have kept him from falling anyway.
The wind made it too cold to work outside today so I transplanted the Yarrow instead. Two to a cup. If they all live I'll end up with a couple dozen plants. So now that everything is transplanted, I packed up all the supplies back into the tote I keep them in until (hopefully) next year.
I've been dozing off & on most of the evening. Don't know why I was so sleepy but definitely awake now.
