I am reading Nicholas Sparks See Me. It's a love story but with a little bit of mystery to it. Probably will finish it today. Melissa I like James Patterson also but he is just rambling on and on about the same things does get boring.

Oops, meant to ask, has anyone read Jeffrey Archer's books? Had an email from Barnes and Noble about pre-ordering his latest and it sounded interesting?..think it is the third in a series.

Marlene, it is good to see you here. I am Beeje from the reading thread at Cook's Corner. AND I love to read! As do I. I am in the process of exporting 420 books to Excel so they can be alphabetized by author. Going pretty good so far. It's a project I have been thinking about for a long time. Marlene

I'm reading Guilty by David Baldacci. He's one of my favorite authors. This book is the last of the Will Robie series.

I read a lot of his books many years ago and quite enjoyed them. Haven't read any in recent years. I stopped buying books about 12 years ago when I retired, first time around. Figured it was an easy way to save some $$ and now almost everything I read is on my tablet, downloaded from the local library.

Cooktocook, I finished The Lemon Orchard by Luanne Rice, and really enjoyed it. It was a a very well written book, very captivating story, held my interest from the beginning. I had never read Ms. Rice before, but I will again. Someone from another board recommended her.
Now I am back to bookless. LOL Sure won't be that way long.
Hope all have a great reading week!

Bee, glad you enjoyed the LEMON ORCHARD. It was the first book I ever read by Luanne Rice, and I too found it to be well written. Loved the dog! The author has written over 20 books, but I am only now reading my 2nd book by her, THE PERFECT SUMMER. Just 100 pages done and have over 300 more to go, so not too far along. It is holding my interest, so I'm sure I'll be looking into more books by her. Lori

Hi book friends, as I was finishing Miss Peredine's Peculiar Children, I remembered 77 shadow street by Dean Koontz! So...I'm rereading it...and loving it again. Our weather got to 87 with humidity of 19%. Really uncomfortable for us high desert people....not used to humidity!! Hope you all are taking time to read your stories...makes everything so much better, I think. Have a calm and peaceful evening...j

One of the ProBoards I am on has a like button, and I miss it here.
Jolee, I tried reading one Koontz book many years ago, and didn't make it through the first chapter. I cannot handle intense, and he was intense, to me. My dear late daughter loved him.
Ez, I have never read any of Archer's book either.

Finished Robyn Carr's Thunder Bay series. I'm starting on Debbie Macomber's Blossom Street series.
I read a lot on my Kindle but most of those authors I don't see in the library.
