Good morning! It's a clear but cold morning. I will be finishing prepping for dinner planned for supper time. Haluski was really yummy last night. I tried a new ready pasta called Pasta Zing! That was outstanding and each bag holds two generous servings. Good to hear from Birdy. Wishing you all a blessed and wonderful day. I am very thankful for your friendships. Enjoy your day!

Good morning. Happy Thanksgiving. It is 31°this morning will just a few billowy pink clouds in the sky with some gray centers in them. There are also pink jet streams across the eastern sky. Not quite time to see the sun peaking above the horizon.
First on the agenda this morning I am out the door to snow blow while the snow is dry. Only about a inch left but want to get it off the driveway. Especially the hill.
I will be back when finished.
Have a great day.

Good morning from a chilly Yuma. It is 49º but thankfully no wind. I'm so glad that I put up the top half of the windshield on the cart yesterday. No cold air blasting onto my face. Our friends, Mary and her two were at the area today. But all the "kids" were quick about doing their business on this chilly morning.
I have a load of laundry in the washer and enjoying my first cup of coffee and cookie. The mini split is not working for some reason so there is not much heat in this room. The dryer will help some though when it runs. Monday I'll have to call the company that installed the unit. This has been a bad year for repairs and I'm running out of repair money quickly. Well I'll be darned, the darn thing finally started. Not good to take 15 minutes to run.
My steak was still frozen when I took it out of the fridge. It will stay on the counter now. I want it for lunch not supper. Shortly I'll start slicing the roast for my jerky and later this afternoon I'll do some Christmas decorating. That's my day in a nut shell.
Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful new friends. Love to you all and blessings in abundance.

Happy Thanksgiving! So many things to be thankful for in my life. Hope you feel the same.
Kind of a lazy morning here. DS made a breakfast casserole, and we ate as we each got up and got ready. Youngest Ds and family showed up so they ate also. I am using the kitchen table but will have to clear out soon. DS is smoking the turkey and soon we will be cooking the homemade noodles. Last night we had the baked ham and sweet potatoes and salad, and it was enjoyed by all.
The parade is on the tv and most are in the living room watching it.
I hope everyone enjoys the day. Waving to all. Will probably pack the computer away for the rest of today, so will check in tomorrow.

Mamma, your low this morning is 10°higher than my high for the day. Enjoy your steak for lunch. I use a think cut London broil when I make jerky. I also have the gadget to make jerky for ground beef and it is pretty good but haven't made either in a long time.
Chris, nice of you to make food to take to your brothers. Glad you and Dan won't be home alone today. Are you going to cook your fresh turkey now or freeze it until you can have your family dinner.
Tammy, sounds like you are enjoying your family and certainly eating well.
I have been out snowblowing unfortunately with the little hand blower rather than the tractor. It is quite wet so the blower keeps clogging up and my legs and arms are getting tired. Have have a long driveway and the first part is up hill. The plows snowbank is quite a challenge with the little blower. I am in right now finishing the dinner rolls for dinner at DD's. Ha so in the freezer from the Lions' dinner that is enough at his house. Dinner at 3 and then at 5. I will be ready for bed by then. I just to get a few more passes up the hill and then I will be able to get out without any problems I think.

Elaine, hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner and your football game.
Helen, sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Me I pulled a self pity party. It just wasn't my day. I did get some of the snow blowing done but both the tractor and the snowblower decide to quite working. I think it made me realize more that ever that it is time for me to leave the hill and get closer to civilization. I Texted both of the kids and told them I wasn't coming to dinner. Neither were happy but I think finally realize I am serious about moving. They have both been here this afternoon and we talked seriously so the hunt is on for either a piece of land or a small home on flat land. I am find but just wanted some time to myself with a few tears that keep coming once in a while but this too shall pass.
Since I have already had turkey last night tonight I pulled some smoked baby back ribs that I did this summer which I will put BBQ sauce on them and cook them in the oven along with butternut squash and mashed potatoes from the freezer.
Have to work tomorrow so that will keep me busy until I get out of mood.
Enjoy your evening and hope all had a great day with friends or family.

Good afternoon and Happy Thanksgiving! When I count my blessing, the wonderful friends I've made here over the years is on the list!
Happy Birthday Elaine! You share your special day this year not only with the Turkey himself, but also with several food holidays: National Eat a Cranberry Day, National Cashew Day and National Espresso Day. My MIL is also celebrating her 93rd birthday today.
DD and DDG arrived last night about 10:30. Lilith was already sleeping when Grandpa lifted her out of the car and into the bed, so play time had to wait until this morning. We had a wonderful time enjoying each other. Being everything was pre-cooked, it was just a matter of heating up a plate; we ate around 12 noon. DD said she like all the DF choices I made, so she gladly took some leftovers with her when they pulled out of the driveway at 1:45. She called at 4:20, that they were back at their place safe and sound.
Got a chance to watch the 2nd half of the Packers beat my Lions. Taped the Macy's parade this morning, so when I am done posting here, I'll empty the dishwasher and then settle into the Lazy Boy for that. DH just ate some leftovers while I'm here posting, but I'm still full of earlier, so I won't be eating anything more today.
Going for our Covid vaccine tomorrow morning. Honestly, neither of us are looking forward to it because of the terrible reactions we've had with the previous 5 vaccines; crossing our fingers and saying a prayer, but doubt we'll be so lucky.
Dishwasher is ringing, so that my cue to get moving. Take care everyone. Talk to you tomorrow, I hope, sometime during the day. Lori
