Wendy, Chelsea has been taking a Hip & Joint supplement for several years. Probably why she has done well as long as she has. But I can't figure out why 7 PM seems to be the bewitching hr. For the past several days she starts yelping & being restless between 7 & 7:30. Why then? I just gave her an aspirin & coaxed her onto the bed in the BR. That seems to be the most comfortable place for her. There's only so much I can do for her.
I finally got the Daylily bed done. Looks much better. If it's not too hot tomorrow, I plan to tackle the front slope which is overgrown with grass. I went out & took some pictures this evening for the weekend thread & that was my day.

Good evening. Just thought I would stop in to the Shed before heading to bed. I'm pretty tired. Surprised? I'm sure not.
Except for DSon and his family not being here today along with a couple of nieces and a nephew who couldn't make it, today was darn near perfect. The weather was fabulous. I thought it might be a little chilly, but it apparently didn't really bother anyone. I think we got to the lower 80s today, but the previous two days have only been in the 70s with nighttime lows hitting 50 or so. It's a little hard to have warm water under those circumstances. Tomorrow we are to heat up to 90+. That would have been better swimming weather, but it would have been pretty uncomfortable for those not in the pool. Either way, it worked out really well today. I've been cutting flowers for bouquets so I was a little shy on flowers, but one of my grand nephews asked me if he could have some of the rudbeckia and sweet William. I have plenty of rudbeckia to spare, but I had to tell him his mom and dad would have to share the one sweet William. What a sweet kid to want the flowers for his parents! One of my DBIL's told me that some of the others were going behind me as I was cutting flowers and just pulling blooms off the stems of some things. I can't even care about that. They were having fun. A good time was what today was about. DM and DU had a really good time visiting. Neither went outside until it was time to go. They were content to just sit inside and chat. That was something that made me very glad I did today. It was worth all the frustration and work to see them hanging out together and the kids having a ball in the pool. I also got out the bubbles I bought for Mac last summer that he never got to use as well as some sidewalk chalk. Both were hits with the littles. I also took out two badminton racquets and a birdie that I picked up at Dollar Tree a while back. My niece and her one son had a good time with those. The same niece had to help fish the birdie out of the pool more than once. LOL!
I had grand plans to comment to everyone tonight. I really don't think that is happening. My brain has decided it has had enough. Time to turn off the pool and head to bed. I hope today was good to everyone. G'night.
