Boy did I ever "score"!!! Found 5 pounds of cherry tomatoes on the sale table for $3. They are now dehydrating into "tomato raisins". Also found a bunch of veggies that I am roasting for my pasta sauce. Sitting now for a few before cleaning up in the kitchen. Waving!

Five pounds of cherry tomatoes yielded a little over 1.5 pounds of sweet, moist, and slightly chewy "tomato raisins". Will portion out into snack bags for the freezer and friends.

Those look amazing and yes, I'll definitely be trying that. Thanks annrms. Definitely a new to me recipe. What a beautiful platter for displaying them.

Someone mentioned they don't can tomatoes anymore since they don't have a pressure canner. Tomatoes only require a hot water bath. If you are using low acid toms you add a little lemon juice to each jar.
